Zhujiang New Town is central to most of the major sights in Guangzhou like the Canton Tower, Guangzhou Opera House, Guangdong Museum, IFC building and the East Tower. There are many restaurants nearby which will offer fantastic views of the area. The area is also very well served by the metro and shopping malls. A visit to Guangzhou would be incomplete if you missed this area.

The area plays host to many festivals and celebrations like the GZ International Light Festival, Chinese National Week and Chinese New Year. The area is ever changing. We find ourselves here at least once a month for dinner with friends or a weekend trip into the city.

There are are about 16 (I didn’t count) beautiful lady bronze statues in front of the R&F Center, in ZhuJiang New Town. They are about 60 metres away and across the street from the ZhuJiang New Town Metro Station closest to the Guangzhou Opera House. Beautiful bronze statues by the same artist appear in a few places around Guangzhou, making them great photo ops.

As the name suggests, this Is the newer part of Guangzhou. The office towers display world leading architecture. It is home to the artsy building such as Guangzhou Opera House, Guangzhou Library, Guangdong Museum, and the street art, which changes periodically, is generally fairly beautiful.

Newer buildings, some beautiful sculptures, and an area of Western food restaurants. We came primarily for dinner and a little sightseeing.

We live in the ZNT area and absolutely love it. Lots of nice residential buildings, cafe's, bars and restaurants.

This place is close to the American Consulate, the Mall of the World, Ritz Carlton Hotel and Guangzhou Library. Also close to the Opera House. It's also fun to go up the IFC building that also houses the Four Seasons Hotel. You can take the elevator to the 70th floor where the hotel lobby is, walk across the lobby to the other bank of elevators, take them to the 100th floor for a partial view of the city. The best part is going back to the 96th floor where there's a bar with an awesome view of the river.

The Zhujiang New Town is indeed an exciting place. There are several really cool buildings, including 2 of the tallest buildings in Guangzhou - the iconic IFC and the CTF building. There are also several high end luxury hotels in the area, surrounding the wonderful central park, where mall of the world (an underground shopping mall is based). Lots to do in this area and a perfect way to lazy weekend.

My second visit to Zhujiang New Town, I love to visit this area at night when all the skyscapers are lit up,
It is full of family's enjoying an evening together, children playing, the area is pedestrianised so very safe for children.
You can watch the tourist boats going up the river, it is worth taking a river trip the views are very good, the night trips are best when all the area is lit up.
There is a library which is open quite late.

Zhujiang New Town or ZNT as I prefer to call it is really a wonderful high end residential area in Guangzhou, perhaps the most expensive as well. You will find all kinds of restaurants, shopping malls, parks, here.

Yeah 🇬🇧 yeah 🇬🇧 yeah Zhujiang New Town is our town 💕🇨🇳 standing on the banks of the Pearl.. River💕🇨🇳 In recent years Z.. New Town (Zhujinag Xin Ching) district has become one of Guangzhou’s International hotspots. Sightseeing by Huangpu Dadao and the river. It was developed in part for tourism employment and the 2010 Asian games. Remains a great 👍 escape from the traffic and concrete landscapes of the rest of the city. Sculpture.. Flowers and quirky shaded benches await you. Many of the city’s highest end hotels are located along it’s promenade. And you will get the best view of the Canton Tower across the river.. Restaurant is a yeah .. Metro access is a big yeah.. Cinama is a yeah.. shopping is a yeah location below ground. Brilliant when it’s roasting hot during the summer.. Our advice go! go! go! 🇨🇳must go of an evening and enjoy the vibes.. 💕🇨🇳. A big yeah from us who have lived and worked in this beautiful beautiful city.. Love 💕
