The park is in a terrible condition. Small, ugly concrete constructions have been built at random here and there, to house god knows what. Large portions of the park are blocked by metal palissades, supposedly for renovations, that have not progressed for years. Behind the palissades, there are now people living in shacks, who hang their laundry all other the place. At least 1/3 of the park is disfigured by all these. The park used to be lovely, and still houses beautiful trees, but the way it is maintained is shamefully negligent. The organisations which are supposed to maintain it should be embarrassed by this display of carelessness in one of Metro Manila’s prime areas.

Take a stroll through this beautiful park and you will instantly restore your soul and bring you peace of mind. The beautiful Koi Pond in the center offers you a moment to calm your thinking and just walking through the greenery to see the different species of trees is amazing. I love the large stone turtles. It is well worth the visit and does justice to the man in which the park is named after.

A beautifully planted, well maintained urban oasis. Especially, don't miss the Japanese garden area.

Nice little park surrounded by horrible polluting traffic. Makati has no policy of getting rid of their traffic hell so these small parks dont make much difference unfortunately. As well traffic lights erected on several corners of the park has made the pollution way worse than it was before.

This is a small pocket park in the middle of Legaspi Village. Despite the size, it's an oasis of peace, calm and greens in the heart of busy Makati. I appreciate the fact that they provide piped-in new age music throughout the park from speakers hidden amongst the greens.

If your looking for a nice, peaceful walk especially on a sunday morning this is a good place to go. It is quite small but very clean and well guarded. Only disappointment is that the guards in the area won't actually allow you take pictures especially if you have your DSLR camera with you.

Many people walk their dogs here and also just sit and enjoy the peace and greenery. There are an amazing assortment of trees to wander around and read descriptions of.

Secured an empty corner in the park to meditate but when I blinked my eyes open, at least 10 people, mostly men, were already watching. When I started to move around and stretch, I can hear commentaries, some indecent, pertaining to my body. When I seeked help from the park management, I was only given a "we cannot do anything about that because it's a public park,".

To think this happened in a park after a philantropist's namesake.

A peaceful respite from the busy hustle & bustle of makati. This oasis in the concrete jungle is a must place to visit to regain your senses. With benches, absolute greeneries, and huge trees - the park is a nice place to have a donut and a cup of coffee
