Dante is an “Italian” restaurant located near the end of a pier jutting into the Bay of Izmir across from the ferry terminal. It has very nice decor and friendly service. Sadly, the food was unexceptional and I’m pretty sure would be quite unrecognizable to Italians. The Chicken Milanese was pounded flat to dinner plate size, breaded and fried and far too dry to eat. The lasagna looked right but the flavors were very different - still good but not really Italian. The hungriest person in our party who generally vacuums up everyone’s left-overs didn’t even finish his own pizza which says a lot. The location is great and the view quite beautiful but maybe it’s best to go for drinks and snacks and have dinner elsewhere.

Great place for dinner

We visited as a group, sitting outside by the sea. The view is amazing. Our friends ordered different things, and they are all very good. I personally like the salad and grilled chicken while my friends enjoyed the pizza and their wines. Great experience for us all.

Amazing sunset

A sea side cafe bar with an amazing view. You will enjoy snacks and a drink at sunset with friends or may be a breakfast with family. I love to be there.

I visited this bar with my friends to enjoy some lovely time with great view and delicious drinks and snacks. Unfortunately it was the opposite. The espresso Late was not espresso and the tiramisu was missing some ingredients like coffee and biscuits.
