What travelers are saying
- NickGiGermany23 contributionsI just don’t know what to say except breathe taking ! Angkor Wat and the National Park is probably one of the wonders of this world. Don’t make the mistake to visit just for 3 days unless you are a marathon runner or iron man. If you’re really wanting to see this amazing place you will need at least 5 to 7 days. We stayed for 3 weeks and didn’t get to see everything!Written March 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LexibellePhoenix, AZ1,265 contributionsWe spent the afternoon here after doing Angkor Wat at sunrise in the morning. It was not nearly as crowded and was nice to have less people milling about. Our tour guide was amazing and very knowledgeable about the area. Highly recommend doing this as well.Written February 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- MyaA4Los Angeles, CA116 contributionsFascinating old trees with roots goingvthrough the buildings. Touristy. Need to wait to take pics. - NickGiGermany23 contributionsPlease go and visit, what you will learn is more than enough to understand how bad the situation is with land mines (not only in Cambodia). If you are able donate a little because the little will make a difference!Written March 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sara CLondon, UK27 contributionsA bucket list must! You have made it to Cambodia, surely this is why you came? Note: the ticket office is separate to the park, consider buying your ticket the evening before if you want to see the sun rise at Angkor Wat. Be sure to get there as early as you can, its worth it. You will need transportation around the park as it is VAST. Wear comfortable shoes, a hat and be sure to have sunscreen and plenty of water. Do a little research beforehand to get the most of the trip.
Yes the place gets busy and the locals want to sell you their wares but for most people this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to immerse yourself into something totally unique.Written January 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. A short and informative visit to learn about what organizations like Apopo are doing to alleviate the horrors of landmine across the globeWritten March 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MTMHampshire512 contributionsWe were not expecting this given the historic town! It really is a street of bars and music and you could be anywhere. Glad we went and there is a big choice of bars and shops and it is very lively. Bars very cheap!Written February 29, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- KMLondon22London, UK207 contributionsWell worth a visit. The museum holds a number of impressive statues & artifacts from Angkor Wat & other nearby archaeological sites, supplementing understanding of both the places & their history. It has a modern informative layout and as such is a lot better than the National Museum in Phnom Penh. There is though surprisingly little on everyday Khmer life, but maybe not much is known. Entry price is ÂŁ10, not the ÂŁ100 currently shown on Tripadvisor!Written March 16, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
