Saint Catalina

It helps if you are with religious a priest or someone who can at least translate Spanish. It is much more than a museum you have 3 miracles inside. Some demonstrated by pilgrims who were here last year. The first is at the entrance their is a bench with an upholstered seat if you are having trouble with conception if a woman sits on this bench she will get pregnant. Last year a group of travelers in our group one visitor had a sister in law who had been trying to conceive for a couple years. She sat on this bench went home and was pregnant 6 weeks later had two twins boys.
The second is the small bed with Saint Catalina in the bed the security guard actually opened up the gate and let some of us kneel down right beside her and pray. I said a rosary for several people who I know that are sick.
The third miracle is the small doll in the glass cage she was known to get up walk about at night.

collection of paintings & that's about all
wrz 2016 • Pary
We found this museum very over-priced for what it was - a collection of oil paintings and a few religious statues. The building is quite quirky, the floors are super-creaky and there is no way at all to walk quietly. We were closely followed everywhere by one of the teenaged "security guards" which was a little off-putting.
The paintings themselves were a little dull, just the usual religious icons etc and there was no information provided about them. You do get a glimpse into the main part of the church from the upper floor, but can't get in there which is a shame as it looks very nice.
You can buy goods from the nuns through a revolving window (so you can't see the nuns in action) which is a bit of fun and you don't need to pay to get into the museum to do this as the revolving window is by the entrance to the museum. The list of items available is all in Spanish.
