Still fabulous after 4 years

I stumbled across this treasure in 2013 on a solo visit to Yangon, and went back in 2017 for an equally delicious and freshly prepared meal of Kachin salads and curries. Highly recommended, though the setting is very simple. You won't regret it.

Came here on recommendation of hostel. Staff was lovely and accommodating and food hit the spot. Locals place definitely, don't be put off by the shabby chic!

Excellent food.

Fingers is a no frills, beer serving, authentic tasting myanmar food joint. Food at a great price, service with a smile, large portions.
It's not fine dining, it's not fancy and it's cheap and tasty.
Eaten at many "expensive" places more highly rated but with worse food.
If you want good authentic Myanmar food then this is it.......

Stroll in and waddle out Kachin style.

I stay in Yangon often (Alone) and I eat here alot!..why you may ask?

Simply the food is perfectly prepared, traditional and homely. Fingers has a real family feel and the staff are very accommodating to repeat customers.

The kitchen is tiny! Mama and the two kids who often work in there in the evening bang out the fresh, zingy salads and mouthwatering Kachin curries.

The menu is very large...no one would really notice if you lost a couple of pages.

Its also dead cheap, you stroll in and waddle out fit to burst for about 6 bucks

Go enjoy and feel like part of he family.. try the Pounded Chilly and the Fish Curry Kachin Style

Small Place, Big Menu
maj 2016 • Wyjazd w pojedynkę
An expat friend recommended the place and I was pleasantly surprised by how large menu was. The prices are typically cheap for Myanmar and they offer a variety of Burmese, Kachin, and other Asian dishes. I had a ramen soup, which was delicious and exactly what I wanted. I also ordered the Kachin Green Bean Salad. No bad, but a bit heavy on the onions for my taste. Loads of locals and it began to got crowded around 7-7:30. The also offer ice cream and milk shakes. You should definitely stop by if you're in the area.

Excellent food but hole in the wall!

Food wise it was excellent. Fresh and spicy! But this is not for the diner looking for an ambience. A small "dhaba" style mom and pop restaurant.

Kachin food is so good
sty 2016 • Znajomi
All the food we had here, which was 4 different times, was very good. We told the last couple of times to bring whatever was good and fast and we weren't disappointed. Very friendly, English speaking staff which are not only serving but help you with everything you ask. For sure one of the best restaurants we've been in Yangon.

Best Kachin restaurant in Yangon!
kwi 2015 • Znajomi
In fact, it might even be the best Burmese restaurant in Yangon! The cost is at the cheap end of the scale but the food quality definitely isn't. It specialises in Kachin state cuisine but there's a wide range to choose from including Western fare. You can't go wrong with any of the salads. I came here several times when I lived locally. Deservedly getting more popular with expats in the know. Family run - they also speak good English.

Most delicious!
We stayed close by @ pickled tea hostel and came here almost every night for dinner, partly because they serve very delicious Burmese food and nice staff, and partly because it is the only place we could find with an english menu in the area.
Would definitely recommend!
