Aside from having a great selection of chocolates, Bébette the owner also runs chocolate classes. If you are looking for a unique way to spend an evening, you should definitely give this a consideration. Her class shows you how to manipulate chocolate, how they make the chocolates they sell and gives you opportunity to create some cool things made from chocolate! Her stories were interesting, there is plenty of chocolates to be eaten and most importantly, we both had a fun time.

Real Belgian chocolates. They are fantastic. Everyone I've ever had is wonderful, but the Earl Grey chocolates are my absolute favourites. I try to buy others, which are wonderful, just for variety, but I usually buy about half Earl Grey. Only buy what you want to eat in a day, though, unless you have lots of self-control.

We had some chocolates from La Bonbonniere a few hours ago. I just had to write this immediate review - which shows how much they impressed me! The first time I went to Brugge, I could not believe the melt-in-your-mouth explosion of the wonderful deep and rich flavors and taste sensations that I got from the chocolates purchased in some of the small local chocolate shops. Since then, many of these small shops have gone out of business or been supplanted by larger conglomerates. Now. one can purchase "Belgian chocolates" in many places all over the world or over the Internet. But in general, they are not quite the same. I have also sampled offerings from many local chocolatiers in my travels, with varying amounts of enjoyment. After reading the three reviews of La Bonbonniere pn Tripadvisor, we just had to try them on our trip through Augusta. Yes, they may seem a bit expensive, but after the first bite, one can tell only the finest ingredients are used and the chocolatier, who is originally from Belgium, is very skilled. I felt like I was back in Brugge savoring my first taste of REAL Brugge chocolates -- a wonderful and memorable experience. My wife also agrees. I thought about purchasing several boxes to bring back to friends in Southern California, but with the current heat wave here and several days more driving to go, I will just have to check and see if they ship in refrigerated boxes! If you live in Augusta or are driving through - and like top-class, authentic Belgian chocolates you must give them a try.

We were in Augusta, and a family member told us about this shop. Who would believe we would find such refined, delectable and varied chocolates in Augusta? It was hard to choose from all the wonderful flavors that were on offer, but we managed to do so. The pecan brittle (which is soft and not hard) is outstanding. The chocolates are divine. Our entire family loved this place and the products. The owner is very friendly and helpful and added her Belgian charm to the experience.

OMG you will not find better hand made chocolates anywhere in Georgia! Owner is so nice she usually will offer you a sample of her awesome sweets when you first go there. Her goody boxes make great gifts. You can buy them as big or little as you like. A gift for( yourself or) a friend from La Bonbonniere will always be a big hit! Love this place. No way to resist these tempting goodies, so be warned!

I found out about this shop by word of mouth and it did not disappoint. All of the chocolate is made by hand and not your average flavors. This place maybe pricey for some but everyone needs to give it a chance and you could always use a special treat!!

This has to be the best chocolate in Augusta. Their chocolate is not processed so the shelf life is around 3 weeks. Flavors are all natural. They have small, medium, and large boxes you can fill with your selection from the glass case, or purchase ready-to-go bags on the shelves. Very friendly service and located on the back side of the building.

When I found out my daughter and her husband were moving to North Augusta I start researching places and things for them to check out. This place was one of the first places that caught my eye. Europe has a special place in our hearts and you can't go to Europe without eating lots of Chocolate!
When we decided to come visit them for Thanksgiving I knew we would all have to go and try this place. I am so glad we did! The owners daughter was there and very friendly and helpful. She answered all of our questions. I genuinely felt at home.. Now let's talk about the chocolates. They are wonderful! So many choices. They are so top notch! These are not just chocolates, eating these are an experience! I cant wait to go back!
