A must stop
lis 2020
Definitely a place you need to stop and check out.
Rebecca (Gallery Director) has a keen eye and has curated some amazing exhibitions.
Currently, they have a exhibition from secondary students and it was beyond. The talent and emotions in the pieces made it hard to believe the age of these artists. Truly astonishing.
Aside from the art the staff are some of the friendliest I have met (especially Sandy). They not only know everything about gallery but also Bundaberg and the surrounding area. This knowledge really enriched our road trip.

Yes, I did ask permission before I took the photos =D

short Queensland rail holiday

this is a small gallery run by passionate people. The museum has a lending library of a large range of art books in conjunction with the library. During my stay they had two very interesting exhibits focusing on the local/regional: Found! Studio Dog, with most of the art pieces tied to man's (and woman's) best friend in a time of isolation and the other exhibit a history of the two iconic bridges of the town: the Burnett and Kennedy bridges built in the late 19th century.

Enjoyable Visit
sie 2019
You always take your chances visiting regional art galleries, but we enjoyed our visit here. The gallery seems to be sited in an old bank as there is a vault room, now featuring a giant eagle landing in its nest. There is an upstairs section, with stairs leading up past a very brightly coloured window in abstract design, and I enjoyed the exhibition with an avian theme. Worth a visit!

Interesting and varied exhibitions

Made the drive from Bargara to visit BRAG on a hot day, having seen it referenced in a local tourist brochure. The Gallery is located in the heart of Bundaberg City and showcases exhibitions drawn from local, state, national and international artists. The Gallery houses three very distinct spaces including Gallery One on the ground floor for major touring shows, major solo or group shows. The Vault is a contemporary art space showcasing contemporary installations, while Gallery Two, on the first floor, is used as an emerging space for local artists and group shows.

Really appreciated that entry was free and the wonderful air conditioning.

Currently 3 exhibits available to view: Safe Space, Built Yourself Too, Geometry & Space. My preference was for Safe Space, which invited more active engagement with the pieces.

An easy way to spend half an hour or more.

Had a little time to kill, entered and wow it was well worth the visit. I would recommend to all. Called the daughter and advised her; unsure if she visited the Art Gallery or not.

A gem
cze 2018 • Pary
Went as it was a cool day and we were wandering round the centre of the town. A gem with 2 great exhibitions on at the moment. Helpful staff who also shared the history of the building. Great that it is free too. Well done Bundaberg.
