Zoo good but arrange your return.
Cab from our hotel in Arona. Nice zoo, well presented. Incredible wild bird show to finish. Only downside, the long queue for a cab back. Zoo staff on reception not interested. I would have thought the zoo would find financially beneficial to have a local arrangement.

    Ok until the end
We visited on the 29th March and I hopeful really that the management will see and read this review. The zoo was great and my 3 year old really enjoyed it. The birds and sea lion shows were great. All was going well until we tried to leave and was offered the opportunity to purchase the pictures which were taken of us at the start. The pictures are 10 euro each. My issue isn’t with that, it was with the member of staff selling the pictures who was beyond rude. She was trying to deal with another English family when we were there and in her limited English very rudely told the price - in Spanish however she relentlessly swore and insulted them with the family unaware. Unfortunately she then did the same to us. Instead of lowering ourselves to her level we walked away but she continued to use foul language and swear. Shame her behaviour alone has put a negative spin on our visit. I’d recommend removing this member of staff immediately.

    Good family day out
It is a good family day out, but I couldn’t help but feel sorry for some of the animals here, especially the birds of prey. They were all tied up to little logs and making noises that seemed like they were quite distressed. There is also an annoying man that walks round with a huge eagle on his arm, literally begging people to have a photo with the bird, even though the bird is going mental trying to escape! The place looks very well kept and it’s absolutely spotless, with the staff working hard to keep everything looking clean and tidy. The free bus there is great but the bus back isn’t until 16:30 or 17:30 and by 15:00 we were ready to go, so we ended up paying €10 to get back to Playa De Las Americas. As expected, the food and drinks are expensive, so we took our our packed lunch. The birds of prey show and the sea lion show were both really good but again, you can’t help but feel sad for them as well. Overall, our young son had a great day and that’s what we wanted so it was worth a visit.

    Okay
The birds here are beautiful, the falconry team out on a really good show and seem passionate about what they do. I didn’t like the rest of the park tbh. A lot of the animals have little to no enrichment. There’s not enough people manning the park to stop children touching animals they shouldn’t. The Guinea pig petting zoo is awful nobody supervising it and I don’t think is fair for them to chased about by hundred of kids each day and have food shoved in there faces.

    A must see in Tenerife
We visited this park with three little children. The park is near Los Cristianos, easily accessible by car. There is a paid parking at the entrance, 4 euros per visit or you can park just outside where it is free and there is lots of space. The park is set in nature, very green, lots of shades, lots of walking paths. There are two animal shows and the birds were just great eith their trainers. There is a restaurant which offers a nice choice of meals, ours were tasty and big, I would recommend. Don’t buy coffee or cola in advance unless you really want them at the restaurant as the coupons cannot be redeemed at the bar or pizzeria.

    Great family day out
Highly recommend. Great opportunities for interaction with animals. Lemurs and birds particularly. Extra photos are expensive. Extra experience with sealions was expensive but really enjoyable. Bob sled great fun. Park not overcrowded. Park was the highlight of the holiday.

    Highlight of my Tenerife trip
This was one of the highlights of my trip to Tenerife. All day I was smiling at what I saw and was glad I was there. The park is well looked-after and all the animals look happy and healthy. Moreover, the staff are friendly and appear to be enjoying their jobs. They put on very interesting as well as informative shows, which kept my attention from beginning to end. What contributed further to my enjoyment was the lack of crowds, something which I have been told isn’t the case at the other zoo on the island. It was so relaxing to be able to walk around the park and observe the animals without people pushing into you and your having to stand behind bigger people blocking the view. That said, it is, in one way, a shame that the park doesn’t receive more guests as it clearly deserves it given how nice everything is. I came away feeling highly satisfied and in high spirits after a delightful day. I also purchased a couple of photos of myself with some of the animals, which will serve as wonderful memories of the experience. I highly recommend a visit.

    Highlight of the holiday
Amazing park! Be sure to watch all the shows for the day.- The bird of prey show was incredible!! Staff was so lovely, gave us some free food to feed the emus, let us into the lemur enclosure even though it was really close to closing. Recommend buying the nectar food for 2euros when in the bird/parrot enclosure!! Brilliant day at a great place!

    Brilliant park!
We wanted to visit a zoo while on the island. Loro parque was too far from our hotel, then we found Jungle Park.. SO glad we did. It was BRILLIANT! Absolutely beautiful park, OK so there's no big cats but this park is one of the best I've been to. We loved how interactive it was. The aviary walk through was a particular favourite of ours. As was the lemur walk through. The bobsled is a must! So much fun for little and big kids alike. Plenty of places for food/drink. Really worth the money, we spent a whole day here without getting bored. 100% would visit here again

    A good trip
Overall a fairly enjoyable trip, plenty to see and a couple of park shows. Good selection of gardens and animals to see. Park was in good shape and good to explore its narrow pathways and hills. I do agree with some of the other visitors who mention the monetisation. Pay for pics, bob sleigh ride etc etc. It’s always tedious being asked for money all the time. The upsell to the seal experience and park animal experience actually looked really good, but would have been more effective via email so one can arrive ready for the experience. Food at the pizzeria was ok, like everywhere else really. Lastly, I do not share the view that the animal enclosures are inadequate, certainly not for the seals….I read 3mX3m which is just the arena, there are multiple pools for them to explore. Of course, captivity is captivity so it’s always tricky on the morality front.

We went on a quiet day just after New Year, which was good because it meant no queueing. It’s really a zoo but with some fantastic extras. We started off by looking at some of the animals, then went to see the penguins being fed. Next was the Birds of Prey show and this was spectacular! So good that we went back for the 4.00 o’clock show to see it again, eagles flying just over your head, gigantic storks, kites and vultures plus loads of other birds with a procession including spoonbills as a finale! We felt as if we were in a Disney movie! Then we had lunch in the restaurant while watching the sea lions followed by another flying display of parrots, including beautiful macaws. You definitely need the whole day to see and do everything, our last thing was a ride on the bobsleigh which was an extra 4 euros but fun. Bring some euro coins if you want to buy food from the machines to feed animals. I can’t wait to go again!

Third time here over the years but it will be the last.

As others have mentioned, the queue to get into the park (after admission) is a bottleneck where you have to wait regardless or not as to whether you want a picture with a eagle or Parrott. "No photography allowed" as the lady pointed out. After all I had to wait in the queue regardless even if you didn't want a picture at a cost of X euros.

They have you cornered , in the rain as it is a good few hundred mts above sea level Into the clouds with temps a good 3-4 degrees lower than the coast. (Keep this in mind as it was cold for shorts and t shirt in march ).

Why the park cannot move the picture money making machine Into the area where the bird show is and people can walk on by if they do not require a picture. (I had a look on the way out and there were at least 4 industrial photo printing machines! Where they have you walking into the photo area again with the bigger gate locked) This was on a quiet day. Imagine in July with crowds.

On a positive note the bird show is impressive , but take plenty cash for the "big company" jungle park for the toboggan run and the entry fee. Family of five with a packed lunch was still £130 entry plus £4 parking plus £20 optional toboggan run. Be careful not to eat your packed lunch in the areas they don't want you to.

The entry system just wasted it for our family. £130 entry then through a shop (no choice) then through a single file walkway to be hassles over photos.

You could do so much better jungle park. You ain't Disney . Reviews like this don't help after lack of tourism re covid bit come on, time to change your model and add 50p entry for everyone and do away with the photo nonsense. Don't tell people to "calm down" when all they want to do is enter the park rather than be held hostage.

The park is a Beautiful small zoo mixed with a botanical garden and playground. The shows are charming, but I find the price too high - family 96€ and an additional 4€ for parking (outrageous). The on-line shop offers little cheaper family admission, but payment fails every time.

Though this park is not as nice as the Loro Parc is is worth a visit when you stay in the south of tenerife. The park really looks like a jungle, it is nicely arranged and the animals look very good. We liked the Emu’s the most you can feed them and they eat from your hand. When you enter you see the eagles and that looks sad, but when you go to the bird show (it is a fee times a day) They fligh very very high and it is very impressive.
2 things we did like, two staff members keep asking if you want parrots on your hand. Also the price of food and drinks ia too high. Causing people to bring their own. Overall very nice spending a day. We were there from 11 till 16 and took the free bus back to adeje.

A real disappointment! The zoo were so desperate to make money in any way they could. Not really that child friendly you can’t bring food from outside and the animals did not look like they were treated well. Had to pay extra for a bob sleigh ride whereby the lady operating it was applying nail polish (talk about unprofessional), all a money making scam. We couldn’t wait to leave. Even my four year old son was desperate to leave, he didn’t enjoy it. Was incredibly boring and poor signage around the park.

The visit was OK but there was really poor organisation for food especially if you have rain, when this happens the snack bars close down and then the only option is the main restaurant that overlooks the sealion show. The tables are limited and if you can't get a table you can't order food. If people are at their tables and finished their food, but stay seated to watch the show, and the staff don't ask people to move on, then you can't get any food. Based on this experience I would say the park is expensive for what it is and over rated. Wouldn't visit again and we've visited many similar parks over the years.

This is a decent sized animal park with plenty to see. The animals are obviously well cared for and the two shows we saw (birds of prey, and Sealions) were entertaining.
Only one sticky point - the cost of food/drinks/photos. Now I understand that they need revenue to maintain the park and animals, but the prices are so high, they're insulting. 4 breaded chicken bits and fries - €14.95. Drinks are extra. The photos with the parrots that you are forced to take after you go through the gates - €8 each. If you don't buy, they are destroyed. Simple economics says if you reduce the price, you'll get more sales. Also, at time of writing, no free bus, so it was another €12 each way for a Taxi.

2nd time we’ve visited, we love the park, the landscaping is simply beautiful, so tropical , lovely photo opportunites. yes there is no longer a black panther, not sure what happened to him, he was there in 2019 and gorgeous. This park may be better suited with slightly older kids (ours are 9 and 12), not a large amount of animals to see, sea lion show is great, be aware if you go to the restaurant overlooking this, there is no child menu( odd for a family attraction) a meal for 4 cost us 82 euros 😬. The bird show is amazing, although got hit in the face with a wing 😅. the birds come incredibly close including the bald eagles, the end with all the species flying together is breathtaking. Sure the animals could have slightly bigger enclosures, but I’m afraid its a small zoo on a small island (it is what it is) if you’re into animal welfare, id suggest a zoo isn’t the place for you. Buses normally run to the zoo across the 3 main southern towns but i think that’s on hold due to covid, it cost us 9.5 euros there from our hotel via taxi , and taxis were waiting outside for a similar price on return in the afternoon. A great day out and from the beach atmosphere, definitely worth a visit. Be aware they will thrust birds at you take a picture, but use it as an experience, you are not obligated to purchase the photos at the end

Our visit to the jungle park started off badly. We were waiting at the pick up point for the bus shuttle as stated in the flyer and website. Unfortunately we waited a long time before a local told us that the busses for jungle park are cancelled. Because we already bought our tickets online we hailed a cab and off we went. Once you enter the Park staff try to push you to take out your wallet. You are informed about the sea lion show and the extras that are available (€75.... For a sea lion hug and 1 photo). Walk a few steps and you have to go through 2 photographers with birds that want to take your photo that you can buy when exciting the park. Once your done with those then joy begins! The park itself is beautiful, trees, flowers and green all over. It is a small park and the variety of animals is a bit poor, a lot of birds. A number of animals that is stated in the flyer and website are not present anymore. Our daughter has celiacs so she has to eat gluten free, well the staff in the park is not informed about their own food and definitely not willing to make an exception ( we asked if our girl could just have some french fries instead of french fries and burger bacause of the gluten) and that was not possible. Overall we had a nice morning because the park scenery is beautiful but it is not a full zoo

Had a great day visiting the park.

The enclosures were relatively large and you could see the animals were well looked after. Shows were incredibly entertaining, the sea lions, penguins and birds of prey.

Park was relatively quiet which made the day more enjoyable.

We also had an amazing time swimming with sea lions. Admittedly, this was an additional 150 euros for the two plus photographs however, well worth the experience in a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Food and Drink was incredibly expensive however, and everything was additional but this would be expected after the 18 months that we have had…
