Lot's of beautiful machines to look at and figure out how they worked. Gives a clear picture of how things went down in this place around the industrial revolution and what that meant for Charleroi

Coal powers industry in the 19th century Belgian powerhouse
sie 2018 • Znajomi
What do you do with all that coal mined in Belgium? Well, power the first steam engines, dynamos, and all the other heavy equipment on display here. All the former mining buildings have been put to excellent use, with the economic, technical, and social aspects of the industrial revolution well explained.

Interesting museum
cze 2017 • Wyjazd w pojedynkę
This museum is located inside the Le Bois du Cazier mining museum and entry is included. There's a large collection is industrial equipment and all the displays include English. The audio guide for Le Bois du Cazier actually includes discussions on the The Museum of Industry anyway, so comprehension will not be a problem.

There's a great discussion on all the equipment and it's uses. There's also a short film about the industrial revolution in Belgian which was most informative.
