We met our tour guide as per the instructions. It was only my husband and I and our guide - a very intimate tour but she was lovely and very knowledgeable. She introduced us to several new eateries that we would very likely overlook.

The tapas highlight was our final tapas bar - specialising in seafood cooked over a searing hot barbecue; we returned twice after that night.

We were attracted to this tour for the flamenco show at the end. Our guide led us to the small theatre where our entrance fee and 1 drink was included. It was also an intimate show which lasted about an hour. We didn't expect much as it did feel a bit scout gang show in terms of their set up; the route from the dressing room to the stage "hidden by a poster board and a curtain", but the show was FABULOUS and an absolute stand out experience from our holiday- highly recommended and we would definitely want to relive the experience- the dancers were AMAZING.

This tour on foot through the city is brilliant. Carlos [or one of his guides] gives a great commentary on the city, lots of little stories and tips that one wouldn't normally know about when exploring on ones own. Also getting an idea of the layout of the city means that you can easily revisit parts that particularly interest you e.g. The Picasso museum, or the cathedral. I can thoroughly recommend this, It would help if you understand a little Spanish, or check that English is spoken. Flat, or comfortable shoes are a must as the walk takes about 2 hours, and there is plenty of opportunity to take photos.

Kalipe is the name of the theater/show. As the hall was packed our seats were not as good, as we were placed by the side of the stage against the wall and could only see 1 member of the band.

Within the hall the heat was rather high and uncomfortable, considering the outside temperature was only 25 degrees. There were 2 small AC, but they weren’t enough to cool the packed house down.
I could imagine the heat would be worse in July and August!

Our guide was very friendly and the show itself was great, and totally recommended.

We had some great stops, around the squsre saw Picasso birthplace, flamingo dancing was amazing. Think the tour lady, could have been nicer to slow walkers. Tapa’s and Malaga sweet wine excellent. Had to buy a bottle at dory free port.

Great value for money! We did this tour straight upon arriving to the city which proved to be an excellent decision. Maria was a very kind and informative guide. Not only did we enjoy the best places for tapas and wine with her, got a little historic background, but got good tips for the rest of our stay, too. The evening was crowned by what I think must be the best flamenco performance in town. A quartet of devoted, passionate, firy-eyed professional musician and dancers seen from immediate closeness in an intimate atmosphere with only 6-7 tables around the small stage, it felt like it was just for us. I recommend this tour to everyone who wants to get an authentic feel of the essence of Malaga in one night.

Carlos is a real Málaga-pro!! The visited spots would barely be found as a tourist. We learned to know new tapa experiences and heared a lot about Málaga! The flamenco show was a blast - fully loaded with temperament!

Our tour guide Carlos was very informative and passionate about Malaga. The tapas was the traditional tapas that you wouldn’t normally have. I particularly liked starting with a bit of wine tasting.
The flamenco show was not what we were expecting and was more like a Spanish opera.
We really
enjoyed the whole evening and would highly recommend.

Paul and Beverly

Our guide Carlos was wonderful. He’s personable and appeared to enjoy his job which made our tapas tour entertaining. Carlos took us to the market and 2 beautiful restaurants where we could cook our fish meal. The disappointment was the boat ride. The boat is portrayed a in the picture is totally false. Our boat ride was on the double decker sightseeing boat at the pier. Very disappointing. Go for the tapes tour with low expectations for a boat ride.

We saw the offer for the flamenco show and took it. We paid 25 euros for the show and one drink. We had a great guide who brought us to the show. He recommended us many things, we could do in Malaga and the cities around. The flamenco show was incredible!! Very emotional and intimate. Even though they were just three (of four) they did an amazing show.
After we heard they already been there for 18 years it was surprising that there was no other feedback on TripAdvisor. But if you want to read more reviews search for kelipe Centro de Arte Flamenco.

We had great night and highly recommend it.

Isabel and Carlos were wonderful hosts to our group of 21 people. There knowledge of the area was fantastic and the tapas and wine was wonderful. The only comment we have is the boat trip was informative. It would have been nice is a guide spoke about the views from the boat or gave us some information. However Isabel and Carlos were fantastic hosts.
