We went to the Jardin Bonaparte on our day in Saint Raphael and walked along the promenade where there were lots of stalls selling a huge variety of odds and ends.

The actual gardens are well structured and laid out on top of a car park, what a great way to hide a necessary evil and not spoil the seafront.

It looked like they held concerts there as well although we didin't get a chance to stay in the evening.

A very pleasent place to spend a couple of hours

Most of the year, I normally live in Saint Raphael. The hole idea about Bonaparte is so great. It's build like a ship, but for parking for about 800 cars. A beautiful parking with a park on the top of it😎
During the high season there are held many events, like shows, concerts and a lot for kids...
First half hour is free, so I also use when I shop and see my bank. Welcome and you'll love this town, all year round♥️♥️♥️😎😎😎

Very nice to walk round the gardens with over look the harbour and mountains and on
hot sunny day somewhere to sit in the shade.....there is a play area for small children.

Slightly disappointed with this after reading reviews.

Would describe this as more of a large terrace than a garden, although there were some attractive enough small bedding areas which had plants and/or cacti.

Plenty of seating, nice views over the sea, the beach in one direction, and the marinas in another. Can get a better look at the super yachts berthed underneath one side than you can from elsewhere. At the far end of the terrace/garden, the huge statue of the St Raphael Archangel is impressive.

Maybe it was the time of year but this garden with its elevated position did seem to catch the wind and whilst it was fine for a stroll I don't think I would have wanted to sit around for too long. Probably in high summer the cooling breeze is welcomed, worth a climb up the steps if you are passing.

Saint Raphael is absolutely beautiful and this is one of the nicest parts of it. There's a really relaxed atmosphere here and the locals are so much nicer than the rest of the Riviera.

A beautifully kept garden with plenty of seating. It is a lovely place to stroll around and look at the yachts in the harbour.

The park is essentially the promenade along the waterfront in St Raphael and it is neat and clean and well maintained. The usual hotel restaurants face the park so it was all fairly standard for a waterfront area named after Bonaparte.

This is one of the smartest ideas I’ve seen. Basically a garden on top of a massive carpark. Very clean with amazing views over St. Raphael marina, Frejus, St.Maxime and St.Tropez areas. The sunset is amazing. There are several events in the gardens pretty much every evening. Nice place to watch the sunshine, chill and eat an icecream:)
