This is a nice architectural structure. This Grain Market was built in the early 18th century. It is quite nicely decorated and in a central place. The beautifully decorated facade is worth stopping by for a while.

Such a beautiful building which gracefully blends into the elegant ensemble of Place d'Hotel de Ville. The most notable element of the imposing facade are allegorical sculptures of male and female figures personifying the Rhône and Durance rivers.

The Corn Exchange is a classical building from the 18th century that shows the importance of the corn trade at at that time. The southern entrance overlooking Place Richelme is decorated with figures of fruits, cereals, and olives representing the function of the building. Today this is the home of the local Post Office.

The facade of the building has some interesting features with nods towards grains. There was a vegetable and fruit market outside on a Friday morning.
