We love this beach...snorkeling is great!
lut 2020
We love this beach....it is a long walk from the cruise terminal where we docked, but the beach is nice and the snorkeling is excellent and we saw lots of colorful fish and a adolescent turtle in the water.

Snorkel, beer, lunch
sty 2020 • Dla rodziny
This is a tiny beach with fantastic clear water full of pretty fish, an amazing view, and a bar with terrific hot food and friendly service. There are roomy clean bathrooms available as well. We took a picnic table with umbrella since the deck chairs were all taken, and as it was lunchtime this worked out very well. As some of the other reviews have noted, water access is not sand but awkward climbing over rocks and coral, so if sand is the essence of a good beach for you then give this one a miss. But if you’d like to spend an afternoon at a great outdoor bar/cafe with a waterfront you can swim and/or snorkel in, then this is the place for you. My daughter liked this better than the sandy beaches of Aruba and Curaçao because of the amazing snorkeling just metres from shore.

Small Rocky Beach,
gru 2019
The beach is about 40 min walk from the Cruise Port (we were told 20 min). Taxi ride is 15 min with a $5 (one way) fee for each passenger providing there are more than 6. Entrance is free, Beach lounge chairs are $5.00 each. Water is nice however to get into it you have to cross lots of rocks so you need beach shoes to avoid possible injuries. The beach is good for Snorkelling. However, we did not stay at that beach we went to the Resort besides it called Eden Beach Resort. There they have a pool, beach chairs $5.00 ea a bar, umbrellas and amazing snorkelling. They do not have a beach as such they have a man made sandy area. If you have a choice, go to Eden its better than Coco Beach. You can access it by Water taxi from the Port of Bonaire

Cruise Excursion
gru 2019 • Dla rodziny
Really excited to get of the ship and visit a Caribbean beach. How wrong we were! We paid $30 each for a 5 minute drive on the Rasta bus, through several construction sites then parked in a muddy bit of wasteland behind the beach bar.
The beach sunbed area is no more than 50m long and 20m wide. There is another sunbed area on the other side of the bar with wooden loungers but these are $10 each. Beds are dirty or broken and you help yourself to a serviceable one from the heap at the back, then squeeze into a spot on the man made beach which looks like quarry waste, definitely not fine coral sand. The pontoon to get you out to the reef edge is broken and access is not suitable for elderly, young or the less athletic, my 13 year son struggled.
Beach edge to the water is coral and some sand, approx 5-15m wide at most. Snorkling was ok,plenty of fish around eating off the broken coral, but be warned that the reef drops away sharply into a dark abyss some 25m from the shore line.
Drink prices are acceptable and staff where friendly, Toilet and shower facilities where clean.
If your looking for the idyllic spot then forget this one. Robbed comes to mind.

Great snorkelling nice beach, bar, showers and toilets
gru 2019 • Znajomi
To get into the water you have to walk on the stones so it helps if you wear water shoes. There is a narrow path, with few stones, into the sea but you need to know where it is to get in the water.
We went here as part of a P&O excursion. We stayed for a 3 hours. Our entry and beach chairs were included in our excursion. The beach is sandy.
Snorkeling is great here, water is crystal clear. Fabulous amount of fish. We also saw divers below us in the water when we moved further out from the beach. There are showers to remove the salt water. Great for a quick snorkel but there are many fabulous places to snorkel on Bonaire.

Wear Water Shoes and Snorkel
paź 2019
We went here as part of a Royal Caribbean excursion around some sights of Bonaire. We stayed for a full 2 hours. Our entry and beach chairs were included in our excursion. Our excursion information also stated that water shoes were needed but we had done some research before we went and were prepared. The beach is sandy but to get in the water you need to go over rocks. Once in the water is warm and crystal clear and the snorkeling is excellent. The variety of fish and sea life was amazing. Our tour guide said it was a teaser. Most of Bonaire's beaches are like this so remember your aqua shoes they will save you a lot of distress.

Bad beach and rude/very slow service
mar 2019 • Znajomi
I went with Family and friends because the cab driver recommended (must get a tip from the owner)
The beach has big rocks on the shore making very difficult an even painful to get in.
I went to buy something to drink for the group and this blond, skinny lady totally ignores me.
She was in a very rude attitude with everyone. Someone told me she is from Holland.
There is no way we need to accept this, so
we pack and leave.
I will never return there.

A Bit Crowded, but Great Snorkeling
paź 2019
Stopped here for a bit over an hour on a Royal Caribbean tour. The resort itself is a bit packed and touristy (but heck, we are tourists). The water and snorkeling a top notch! Free wifi too.

Beautiful sunset during drinks
lip 2019
Nice location on the water side, ideal for shooting sunsets. Hip music and good food. The dish of the day is tasty and sufficient in portion (perhaps too little for large eaters). The service should do better (we waited 30 minutes for our aperitif while there were almost no people).
