Very very sad...
sie 2020 • Dla rodziny
I'm really sorry for my bad review but I felt really bad for all the animals here. They look very unhappy. Most animals grew the cages out. Way too small spaces for most of the animals. Tiger looked extremely unhappy and the monkeys, as well as the horse and the donkey... Not to mention the birds. We paid 50 euro to get in but I really hope at some point it goes towards to maintain those cages because it was really sad.... I'm sorry but those beautiful animals deserve so much better... I walked out feeling terrible 😢😔

We respect your opinion, but our park is a animal shelter place. Why do u think that te animals were sad? One of our main work-pillars is the animal care and we work extremely hard on it.

Was looking forward to going but unfortunately left very disappointed. The animals were kept in horrendous conditions and the whole zoo had a very depressing feel to it. Not worth 30 Euro at all.

Nice place to visit

We had a good family day out at that zoo. Some of the animals were missing - like the lion and tiger for example. There were works going on so I guess it will be extended for next year. Thanks What makes impression was the different pricing for locals and not locals and pricing information missing on the website at all. However, with little bit investment and effort this lovely place can be even better.

Sad Animals in Poor Conditions
maj 2019
I understand many animals are rescued, but I'd be surprised if these conditions were an upgrade. Hovel. Walk out feeling empty and guilty.

Conditions mar an otherwise commendable and enjoyable place

Natura Park is one of those places where you go with high expectations and end up with mixed feelings about the whole thing. As an animal sanctuary and hospital, we were highly aware that some of the animals might not be in great shape as they were rescued from irresponsible owners, but the park really needs resources and better management for them to be better off in their care. The park: You walk around a number of connected paths full of different chickens, ducks, and other birds walking around freely, which was nice to see. Some of the areas for the animals were excellent, but others were way too small. Also, many of the common areas were dirty and the picnic area around the birds was full of rats. There's an enclosed eating area with normal, plastic tables, where we decided to sit down and eat. The vending machines were broken and the tables and chairs covered in mud. We had to clean them all to be able to sit and eat there. Maybe it's on purpose so you'll be forced to eat at the entrance bar. They have what looked like a reproduction laboratory which was in such poor condition, it looked like an abandoned lab from the island of Dr. Moreau. Some of the animal cages needed better ventilation, especially during the 40º Celsius temperature during our visit. The experience: It really left me with mixed feelings. Overall, the experience was ok. We went with small children who really enjoyed seeing all the birds, feeding the goats (an unsupervised, do it yourself experience -hello!?), the bats, owls, tiger (we only saw the one, big cat, and the enclosure was standard zoo fare: could be better and the protective glass was slightly cracked, so, safety anyone?), lemurs (a highlight with a much bigger, dedicated, more open space), etc. Some of the areas were nice, spacious, and well supervised. Others were really not, and require lots more maintenance and better care. A few of the cages were way too small. There's a lack of staff and overall abandon (though the one staff person we saw was knowledgeable and friendly). It marred what is an otherwise commendable mission to help and save these animals. Overall, it's obvious the place needs more resources and that it's either overwhelmed by the sheer volume of animals (half the island sends them its rescue animals), completely mismanaged, or a bit of both. Although I'm very much in favor of their stated mission, and we did enjoy some of what their small sanctuary zoo had to offer, it's difficult to recommend it and to want to go back, considering a lot of what we saw there. Pros: - Huge collection of birds - Lots of roaming animals - Walk-through areas for Lemurs and Scarlet birds - in very good condition (park highlights) - Educational for kids with proper adult supervision and guidance throughout - Animal sanctuary and commendable mission to save abandoned, injured, or illegal animals Cons: - Too many small cages - Needs maintenance with some areas requiring major cleaning and work - Eating and kids' play areas extremely dirty - Needs more staff and feels abandoned and unsupervised - Visible lab and hospital areas seemed in disrepair and abandoned - Some animals in very poor shape

Enjoyable few hours
maj 2019 • Dla rodziny
We enjoyed a few hours here. We got lucky and a lot of the animals were visible. Well cared for animals by the looks of it. I'd recommend taking your own food and hand wash (all four toilets had none).

Would recommend, on the whole

This was a charming place, and we had a very pleasant afternoon there. Don’t go expecting a massive zoo - this is somewhere between a small zoo and an animal sanctuary. Many of the animals had previously been neglected or abused, and as an animal lover I really like what this place is doing. However, having said that, some of the enclosures maybe looked a slightly small for their purpose, and there didn’t seem to be many staff attending to the animals - I could be wrong but some of them looked a little hungry. But I think they do appear, on the whole, to be well cared for. There’s a fair bit to see, plus the maze of attractive foliage-lined paths makes for a lovely morning or afternoon out. There’s a good variety of animals, and my young daughter particularly enjoyed feeding the fish. The cafe doesn’t do much more than paninis and snacks, but there's plenty of picnic tables within the zoo if you want to bring your own food. Would recommend.

Not bad

this zoo was €30 for me and my partner for admission for both of us, I didn’t mind paying this as apparently all the money goes to the animals as if it a non for profit zoo, although we only stayed for around 1.5 hours, on the park map it showed that they had lots of different cats, tigers and lions, although we only saw one tiger which was alone, a lot of the animals that we seen was alone in small cages and most of the cages looked very dated. I only seen around 3 members off staff throughout the whole park, one member of staff who served me on entry as well as in the small cafe so maybe he was doing multiple jobs. The turtles we seen was kept in a small wooden box then was took out, I’m guessing they are kept in this box over night as we arrived airly and seen them being taken out. If your expecting to visit here seeing lots of large animals then it’s the wrong place, we only seen one tiger and lots of chickens, rabbits and lots and lots of different birds. I do like the intentions of this zoo as they rescue the animals and help them.

Mixed feelings
lut 2019 • Pary
I really admire the help theyre providing for mistreated and wounded animals. It was just hard to tell if the animals at the park was being mistreated before or after living in park, as some of them had big scars, open wounds and very skinny. Very small spaces for all animals... When we saw 3(!!) tigers being cramped into a tiny enclosure we were out of there! I want to support helping animals but not having them in that small enclosures. I dont recommend in spite of good intentions.

Nice but small and old
kwi 2018 • Dla rodziny
We visited this parc with our 4 years old daughter. It’s nice but quite old and lots of cages look dirty. Nice to visit on a rainy day but not much special. In about half an hour we already left.
