Degraded way to the top, there are some plates and sections with mud. Some stretches are not so easy to pass but after about one hour we have a beautiful view from the top.

360° view of the region, amazing spot to find peace and tranquility. The path can be a little bit tricky but it's not difficult. It's not a long walk, but it may take some time due to the steep way up and down. Worth visiting and staying there for a while. Less crowded than Pedra Redonda and Chapéu do Bispo. Take a coat, it is windy on the top and can easily get chilly.

To visit this landmark you need to be a bit adventurous. The path is a little unclear and we would have given up, had we not met up with 4 lads heading in the same direction....felt a bit remote, but nice to have done it. There are 2 forks in the path with no markings....turn left at both forks and you arrive at the pedra.

You can either hire a 'Jeep tour service" or go by your own car if it's not too low. My Renault Sandero could make it. On Av Das Montanhas drive up for about 3.5 km and get to a parking area. From there a hike of about 1 km, Not very hard. The worst are some slippery parts. Wear sneakers, avoid new ones cause they get mudded.. It takes about 30/40 minutes to the top but it's really worth the view and it's safe up there. On the way there's a belvedere where you can have a taste of the view

The walk to the Pedra Partida is light. The trail is well marked and can be done without a guide. And when you reach the top you are rewarded with a beautiful landscape. It is important to take water.
