The escape room is not done properly and contains many non thought through clues and innuendos. Loud music is playing throughout which makes it almost impossible to hear the comments of the GM. He is scary and comes out with a chainsaw in the end with real gasoline fumes which fill the room and makes you nauseous. In the end he threw a key in a sloppy way and became aggressive when the children didn’t catch it. Definitely NOT suitable for children under 12. Horrible experience for the whole family. And very expensive.

Great Escape Room for Families

We had a great family experience at Virus Room Escape, a new addition to La Riera in Arenys de Mar. The Can Farigola program was a great experience for adults and kids, which is unusual for escape rooms. A creative story with interesting puzzles, coupled with exquisite detail in room setup and "just right" support from the host. The 90 minute experience gave our 8 year olds and adults opportunities to discover clues and solve puzzles. Programs are available in Catalan, Spanish and English.
Virus Room Escape has an additional experience for adults only, and is part of a consortium of escape rooms that provide a pub crawl style team event called All In. Sounds like fun, but we will need to get a babysitter...
Highly recommended, and worth a visit to Arenys de Mar, where you can find lots of very nice restaurants, less crowded beaches, and a more cozy small-town feel than other Costa D'Or resort towns.

An amazing escape room with a fantastic host and game

Fantastic service with a brilliant game everyone my two groups enjoyed it with a mix of experienced players and first-timers.
The host was brilliant and made the experience fantastic.
Highly recommend the hotel next door for food and somewhere to stay Vila Arenys!
