Not that quiet - relatively chilled

After reading the horror stories of injuries and general poor running of Caneva we decided to try this.

First up - it’s very Italian. The vast majority of people here are Italian and the signage is untranslated. That’s one of the reasons why it’s not *that* quiet. There’s a constant susurration every where I’m the park caused by people talking not that quietly. The oasis shaped pool also has a speaker system blasting out Euro pop There was some Motiv8 and Black Lace. Don’t expect it to be like a convent.

If you want a sun lounger you have to pay extra. If you bring towels you can spread out under a parasol or other shade for free. They allow you to bring in cool bags/ lunch boxes so we didn’t spend anything else after entering. There are multiple conveniences but be warned that they are the squatting type - no getting a sneaky sit down there.

There are 3 pools. One is a circular type one with an island in the middle that is where performances take place. This one has a shallow gradient so good for the kids. It has a bridge with a waterfall bit and one slide which is suitable for younger kids (about 2 meters in height).

There’s also an L shaped pool with the smaller part of the L suitable for toddlers with the main part being about 25m long and 1.4-1.8m deep.

Then there’s a long 25m pool which is the deepest one and at the end has a separate area with a couple of slides for older kids - a curly tube a fairly straight tube. These aren’t controlled in any way so it’s a free for all for kids to take their turn (or not). Again these aren’t particularly high or challenging.

Finally there’s a pirate adventure zone for smaller kids that doesn’t really feature any standing water and has possibly the most chlorinated water I’ve ever experienced. It may cause flashbacks for ww1 vets.

Suitable for 3 and up my 9 year old had a whale of a time here but I’m not sure it’d keep older kids occupied for more than an hour or two.

There’s also a play park with non water slides and for some reason that doesn’t make any sense to me a fishing lake that people were fishing in. Why you’d pay to enter a park to fish I don’t know but people had sooo... Also a couple of volleyball courts which were in constant use, so if you feel like taking on Ice man to find out who is top gun or you can actually play volleyball you’re in luck.

There’s also some rope wire climbing activities that are frankly exorbitantly expensive given the fact you’ve already paid to enter. 22€ for one person to do the full course. It was understandably not busy.

All of the pools have life guards who seemed to actually pay attention and weren’t forever whistling to enforce some arbitrary rule or other which is nice.

Overall - a bit of an oddity. Not an adventure park but just enough to give the kids a full day of exploring and playing without any abrasions fractures or hours of queuing.

Excellent park!

If you have a hire car and children 5 or under this is a fantastic park to visit. There are several pools spread out over the park which are all really clean and well maintained with ample sun beds to hire (€2 each).

Entry is cheap for a family and there is also a pirate themed splash park with water guns which the kids loved and spent hours in.

Couldn't recommend this park highly enough.

Great waterpark! We went with 2 boys of 6 and 8 years old! They really liked the waterplayground and went swimming almost the whole day!
