My wife and I are taking a much needed break from our busy life and are relaxing in the quiet little town of Jamaica, Vermont at the Three Mountain Inn. The Inn is first class in all respects as Innkeepers Jen and Ed just want to make you feel at ease and make sure you have everything you need. When we checked in last night they asked us what we would like for breakfast this morning and we got what we wanted and more. The rooms and property are impeccably maintained and I'm looking forward to a yummy dinner tonight prepared by Ed. The Inn is close enough to Manchester for shopping, ski resorts and restaurants, yet far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. What more could you ask for?

Room tip: We stay in the Jamaica suite, 2 rooms, queen bed (really comfy), fireplace, sitting area with TV/DVD, private bath with whirlpool tub and rainshower, porch overlooking mountains!

Jennifer and Ed are gracious hosts and set the tone for a very relaxing and comfortable stay. I enjoyed the whole experience and would go back.

The Dorset Room was very nice and looked even nicer in person than the website. The common areas emphasized the history of the Inn. Breakfast was great and huge. I appreciated that when I returned back to my room after breakfast, the room was already cleaned.

I had an early departure to Boston and Ed had a nice bag of delicious date scones. Nice touch!

Room tip: I had had the Dorset Room which faces the main street through town. Request a room on the interior for a quieter room.

My husband and I love coming to three mountain inn. This was our 6th visit and each time gets better. Jennifer and Ed make us feel welcome and do their utmost to make our stay comfortable. The breakfasts and dinners are outstanding. It is quiet and peaceful. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. I highly recommend this inn if you are visiting southern Vermont. We have been here in the spring, fall and winter.

Room tip: The rooms in Robinson House are all very nicely furnished with period antiques.

My husband and I traveled with another couple for a long weekend and we all had a wonderful time! Our room was beautiful and relaxing. I loved the decor and the feel of the room. Both Ed & Jennifer, the owners, were delightful to chat with and the breakfasts were delicious! I highly recommend this lovely B&B and hope to stay there again next summer.

If you are looking for a more upscale place with central air conditioning and wall to wall carpeting, this would be the place to go. The rooms are very clean. If you are looking for a more down to earth, simple place this is not it. The food was delicious, but I found the chef slightly rude about the fact that I did not eat meat. He was willing to make the breakfast without meat, but announced to the dining room that he had to change the menu because of my dietary needs. I found that inappropriate as a guest that is paying over $200 a night to stay there. Also, if you are planning on eating dinner there, keep in mind that the menu is pre-fixed and ask about the cost prior to your stay. It is not listed on the website, even though they stated it was (I went back and looked). So, if central air, wall to wall carpeting and meat is your thing, go. If not, find some place else.
