My husband, my friend and I have been to this restaurant for lunch twice in the last few weeks because the deals are amazing and I have decided that I am in love with the Oriental Chicken Salad! So Yummy!

Went for a quick meal to celebrate my grandaughters birthday with her (12) it wasn't the actual day but it was only 2 days off and it was our way to celebrate together! We shared a two can dine special for $25. What a wonderful promotion and the food was amazing from the apetitizers to the desert (which does not come with the package) but that we were suprised with by the waitresses in celebration of Kaits birthday!! The atmosphere was wonderful and homey and the service was very personable and attentive. Would definiately return to this location, and in fact have already raved about it to family.

Although the restaurant was packed, we did not have to wait long for our drinks or our meal and the overall service was excellent. The meal was good and the portions more than enough. The specials are always good value.

Applebee's was the first restaurant we took a break from moving and went to eat at when we moved to the Durham area. It became our restaurant; not quite Cheers but not far off. Then something went awry and we dropped right off. We started returning as they added new menu items, nifty TVs near the bar (they give you a wireless speaker box to tune into the audio of whichever view you prefer), they have new wait staff and I think new kitchen staff as well. The last visit was better than some previous ones and we enjoyed it. Our only critique is for the kitchen to have a little more care and a little more passion in their preparation. And to use less salt, but that's a personal thing. :-) Recommended.

Food is usually very enjoyable but this time must have been an off night. Steaks were not served when ready and were therefore dry. My wife's teak which was ordered medium rare was well done. We did not put up a fuss but after pointing out our displeasure the manager went out of his way to make it up to us. He exchanged the steaks for new scrumptious ones and insisted to take the price of the steaks off the bill and provided us free coffee to boot. His attitude and going out of his way to please us was exemplary and we will continue going back to this establishment and telling all our friends about what turned out to be a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!!!!
