That verandah: idyllic views and ambience.

We loved our stay at Villa 10. So quaint and a home-away-from-home. The fish shop and cafés were great. Everything in Nelson was a do-able walk away. Jenny's textile art was a feature. The ripe plums from the garden were wonderful. Many thanks.
Chris & June.

We loved our stay at Villa 10. Jenny and Graham made us welcome from the get-go and the apartment was beautiful. It was attractive (full of original art by local artists and gorgeous textiles painted by Jenny throughout), comfortable, spacious, extremely well equipped, sun-drenched and had beautiful sea views. As well as that it was set in a lovely garden that we were welcome to go down to. (Access down to the West Wing is a little steep - a sloped path - but my 82 year old mother in law who is reasonably mobile managed it finel.) It was a walk to some fabulous restaurants and the town and beach were a short drive away. Nelson is a lovely town with great shops, restaurants and galleries.

Room tip: We loved the West Wing but Jenny showed us The Loft and that was lovely too, just sleeps fewer people. You can't go wrong here!

What a treat Villa 10 was! It is super cute and cosy with a stunning view over the water and mountains. Our host, Jen was delightful and very helpful. She is a very talented fabric artist and her creations decorate the apartment, giving it a unique and comfortable vibe. The amenities are super, with lovely crockery, all the kitchen gear you need, laundry facilities and slippers and sun hats to use too! We found ourselves sitting on the deck at the end of each day thinking of how lucky we'd been to score this spot! A winner!
PS: there is an extra little den-like bedroom room which I think kids or supple teens would love!

This place was one of the best (if not the best) place we stayed. It is a charming home with lots of character and the view off the balcony to the bay is unmatched. The grounds are well taken care of and the space (west wing) was very roomy and comfortable. If I come back to Nelson, I am definitely rebooking this! The owners are great and helpful and kind as well.

Such a lovely homely villa, spacious and very well appointed, clean and comfortable and oodling character The verandah with its views of the sea and mountains is a real bonus! Good location near the town centre. The steep slope to the front door might be a problem for someone with walking difficulties.

Jenny was holding down the fort while we visited Villa 10 and stayed in what used to be, artist Jenny's painting studio. The space was beautiful, well appointed with everything we could want and need including a beautiful view, a fantastic garden abundant with lemons and lavender and so many other fruits and flowers. Jenny, thank you for your kind attention. You live in heaven right here on earth.

Room tip: Ask for Jenny's studio!
