Conveniently location, Well maintained rooms, friendly staff all make Vinayak the #1 choice for those regularly visiting Ranthambor!

Back in 2007, Safari Gypsies and Canters left from this RTDC hotel so staying here was extra convenient! Thats no longer the case, but it still is one of the better places to stay on a budget.

The staff are very friendly and experienced! Must confess that the good natured staff are what takes me back to this place every time!

On the downside, the food is strictly average with a very limited non-veg selection - especially on weekdays. Persistent problem with winged insects of all kinds coming into the room - especially in the hot summer nights, when the AC is left on!

But overall a great option while in Ranthambor!

Room tip: Rooms on the top floor are cosier - but they are usually reserved for VIP's almost never given out to regular visitors!

I stayed here due to no-availability of rooms in ITDC Jhoomar Baori. It's about 2-3 km from town and is placed in the nicest location with many resorts. RTDC has maintained it fairly well and food is good. The staff of the hotel were very helpful. Kid's play area is not maintained.

It's the 2nd best value for money place (next to ITDC Jhoomar Baori) in Ranthambore.

I stayed for 2 nights in the Swiss Tents in this hotel.
The tent was very clean, nice beds with fresh sheets, and a big clean bathroom with geyser. However, all the tents had big openings on the vertical corners from where cold air would come and make the tent like the Himalayas. It was really really cold inside the tent after evening.
The food served was buffet-style with an vast array of dishes, all very well-cooked and extremely tasty. I loved both the breakfast and dinner buffets, and they changed the menu every day which was very good.
The manager was very helpful, and ensured all safari bookings were made with no hiccups. He would personally wake up before 6am and be at the restaurant when bed-tea was served and to answer any guest queries.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay in this hotel, but perhaps would not prefer a tent next time.

Though we stayed here for just one night, it was a pleasing experience. The rooms were clean. Staff courteous and helpful. Well maintained property. This is close to the park as well. Would surely stay here again for a longer time

This is where I always stay when I am in the beautiful town of Sawai Madohpur. I have already been there twice last year, and am planning one visit in February. We stayed in the AC rooms both the times and the service quality was consistent. This I feel is a sign of a good hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean and allow for enough sunlight to pour in. The bathrooms are not small and are also well maintained. Unlike most government owned facilities this place is quite well taken care off. But the one feature that stands out is the staff! They are courteous, helpful and very polite. The way every staff used to enquire after each one of our safari about tiger sighting was very sweet! In case you are unlucky they would empathetically reassure you :). These are such welcome gestures! Special mention for Mr Rajkumar, the manager of this place. For any problems you can contact him and he will try his best to solve it. Final mention about the food. Dinner and breakfast comes along with the package. The breakfast is decent, but options are limited. But the nice spread for dinner might make you forget that. When the place is teeming with people they have a larger spread, but understandably the number of items get a beating when the season is low. Still the food is fresh, and delicious.

Room tip: Both times we stayed in AC rooms on the first floor and they are pretty decent. The Swiss tents seemed good too.
