We made last moment trip to yercaud . It took us 4 hrs to reach this place from bangalore. The roads r very good and it was a great drive. Hotel is at a great location.The view from the rooms is breath taking. We were given panoramic view room which had glass floor in the room in a corner which was so different.. Food was amazing. Its a kids friendly place too.. Amazing kids area where they can play for hours together..we missed out on event which was there on sunday evening as we were coming back. Yes it was just a days trip but completely worth it for its location and wonderful hospitality. Highly recommended place!!!

Great, Admirable service by the staff. I have been to Yecaud multiple time but the stay in the GRT place this time made it the best trip ever.

An excellent property built on an very good location at Yercaud. To be precise it is at the 20th hair pin bend. Yercaud doesn't have very good places to watch. If you are planning to beat the time by enjoying nature's beauty, then stay in GRT Nature Trails. My kids especially enjoyed the swimming pool which was well maintained. We had booked for a valley view room and felt worth for the money spent. Beware of monkeys visiting your balcony during mornings, advice not to leave your belongings outside. Additionally do not have the balcony did opened during night for a long time as there are lot of bugs entering the room. Salem city view from balcony during night was excellent. Skywalk is a must visit place in this resort. Last but not the least.. Breakfast buffet served at the restaurant (Salem Heights) was too rich and full of varieties. This was free as we got this along with our stay package. Otherwise it is expensive, but definitely worthy.

Few cons
1. Everything was positive except the service by front desk, restaurant, facilities was not up to the mark. I felt more of staying in a hotel than a resort. Had to call up multiple times for everything.. Be it for extra bed or Wifi or any other reason. Hotel service didn't bother to call back to check if it was taken care.
2. When i was on the way from Bangalore (near dharmapuri), received a call from GRT. The lady greeted me Vanakkam (in Tamil). When I started discussing in Tamil, she said she doesn't know Tamil. This doesn't look good. I enquired about how long does it take to reach the resort from dharmapuri and the route to be taken, she didn't had any clue and she said she doesn't know this... Which was not a good response to a customer visiting their resort.

Reduced my rating by 1 just because of the above reasons. Other than these it was a memorable trip to be cherished forever.
