The view is to die for!

Overlooking Salem, the location is unbeatable.

Just adding that
1) the buffets have a good spread and taste fine.

2) Try to get rooms in the higher floors and into the valley as possible.

3) The Skywalk in itself is a bit meh.

4) Trekking on coffee plantation (unused) arranged by the hotel is only for the brave. Make sure you are fit/wear jeans (for there are bugs! & thorns)/shoes.

5) The staff are super friendly and are ever ready to help. You have to just ask.

6) the views from the roof top is breathtaking in the evenings. They supply hot snacks and decent coffee/tea along.

7) The pool is small but well maintained.

8) Indoor games are adequate.

9) Staying at the GRT itself is an experience, more so because Yercaud has little else. So it maybe a little underwhelming.

As many before me have repeated, a must-stay highly recommended hotel slightly expensive but again that makes it exclusive.

Room tip: Top Floors, Rooms towards the valleys. Beware of monkeys!

Loved it

Spacious room and bathroom, great valley view from every room's balcony, spectacular view of Salem during night from terrace, Dinner and breakfast buffet was just delicious.

Tips: Buy dinner at the time of booking online (cost effective) 250/head otherwise 850/head (reception rate). By default breakfast is a part of room package.

It's man made...but natural...

A hotel with a unique design that blends with nature in all aspects. Only one word to describe it...BEAUTIFUL...!!
We booked the panaromic view room and it was real value for money. The day time panoramic view of the greenery from the balcony was simply marvellous. And the night time view of the Salem city lights was another awesome view.The sky walk was another feather in the crown.

Courteous and responsive staff
Children's play area with many options
Swimming pool
Activity room

Bads:
Pool water is not temperature maintained, so water is too cold to swim in the mornings.

Pleasant stay @ GRT yercaud

Our holiday in Yercaud was made very pleasant stay and finest resort in Yercaud . Views from the room, restaurant and Night fire camp !! The staff were courteous and very helpful. Room amenities were of international standard. The view of the valley from the room was wonderful ,Great value for money too and Highly recommended....

Amazing 2 days!!!

We went for yercaud trip in the last week of July 2015 and stayed in GRT Nature Trails, Sky Rocca. The weather was very good and it was drizzling.The stay was very relaxing and amazing, also pocket friendly ( since 50 % offer). We stayed in "Pent House" which was very good and neat. It had a walk-in wardrobe and a bathroom with Jacuzzi which was working great. The main attraction is the big balcony and the view you get with that. We never wanted to stay in the room..all we wanted to do was to sit in balcony and see the view especially at the night. After all you never get to see the view in your day to day city life.

They also offer us to use swimming pool and strictly allowed to use only if you have a swimming costume. They also have gym and indoor and outdoor games.

Complimentary breakfast was very good. Lunch Buffet was also nice. Dinner is A al Carte and we can order anything from the menu and we get it on time.

The staffs were good and very friendly. Overall we enjoyed a lot.

Room tip: Pent House though bit costly full worth of money, they have big balcony with best view
