Best food and best service. It’s friendly to English speaker. Pork loin is super delicious and highly recommended. Great time here.

We love good food and we love traditional local food. But what’s best is traditional local food with a touch, an artists touch and that what you get here. Just off the Plaza Mayor a very elegant restaurant, well decorated, pleasant ambiance and a friendly...attentive staff. The menu is varied, something for everyone and delicious. Great wine list as well. I must say that this was better than expected and I don’t say that often. Full marks all aroundMore
We enjoyed a delicious dinner here. The grilled red prawns to start & locally sourced pork secreto & ham with paprika literally melted in the mouth. The lovely staff were friendly & efficient, allowing us to try out our limited Spanish with a smile but...with excellent English to help us out when we needed it! Great atmosphere when the locals started arriving around ten pm! Highly recommended.More
Exceptional food. We didn’t book and it was near closing tine. But the manager kindly gave us a table. The octopus was tender and grilled to perfection. The salmon starter sent tastebuds into overdrive. And two courses with wine and coffee was very reasonable. Would...highly recommend.More
A gem hidden in a side street off the Plaza Major. Excellent menu with very attentive staff. Having ordered, the owner kindly suggested we should share the starter as the portions are large, This starter of prawns in a soya sauce was delicious as were...our two mains, suckling pig & turbot - all almost up to MIchelin one star standard. Also the menu is available as a hard copy which makes choosing so much easier. {unlike Los Monges which we found very unfriendly & not worth a visit). We will certainly return to Restaurant Succo. On an overnight stop we selected this restaurant. Finding it with difficulty, and after being told off because we were 3 minutes early, we were pessimistic. However, a charming middle aged member of staff came and took us to our table. With charm and wit...she served through the meal. The food was a revelations - the best of what seemed to be a family owned restaurant with pride in its food and local wines. Star of the meal was the meat, wonderful local pork with crisp but juicy potatoes, and we enjoyed every minute and mouthful. This is an example of good regional food.More
We had planned to nip into Plasencia for a quick burger and get an early start tomorrow. Dragging ourselves uphill past our destination and decided an empty restaurant could wait and a wander round the walled town was called for. Good call. The main square...begged a sit down and a review of eating options. SUCCO became the new chosen option Absolutely magic. We have been traveling around Spain and Portugal and this was probably the best meal we've had.More
We had a very nice meal. We were placed in our own room as we were a large group, which we appreciated as we got the chance to talk and move freely. The food was very good and the service too. Our only complaint was...that we had contracted a set menu that included wine. However, it was not explained that it meant just a glass of wine.More
We thoroughly enjoyed our Menu lunch at this restaurant, which represented excellent value given the high quality of the cooking and the pleasant, modern room. Expect traditional Extremaduran dishes with a contemporary style of presentation. Portions are not huge, but definitely sufficient. My wife particularly...enjoyed her veal steak, which was not overcooked, as is often the case here. Service was warm and efficient. Our waiter also spoke excellent English, which might be useful if you are unfamiliar with any of the dishes. We shall definitely return for dinner next time we stay at the Parador, which is a short walk away.More
Great Spanish wine list with lots of local wines. Good Spanish food and excellent service. Don't miss!
Restaurante Succo is not on the main street and if you look into the bar area it looks small. However, the restaurant in the back is quite spacious and the food is fantastic! and the service is great. The owner immediately recognized us as English...speaking and made suggestions from the menu. We loved everything.More
not sure what to say about this. Check out other reviews. We wanted some tapas and a drink. Down a darkish alley off the main plaza. Now to be fair, we went at an off hour, late afternoon and off season. Only people in the...place. Had a beer and some snacks. The people at our hotel recommended it so although we weren't wowed, please read the rest of the reviews.More
we went for lunch at Succo, it is off the Main Square of Plasencia, not difficult to find, has nice halls to dine, and food was very good....all tasty and the wines as well, try it if you are in Plasencia, not that food is...a problem in this part of Spain...all is goodMore
Wonderful restaurant in the heart of Plasencia. High-quality food, being the "pata de cabrito" one of the best ones we have ever tried.
It is located in the center of City. It has a wide range of food and drinks. A cosy and peaceful place.
