This local gem is a true, old school, NY style diner— which means it isn’t “gourmet” cooking, but it will remind you of your mother’s or grandma’s best dishes. Greek American menu has so many choices, and almost everything is good. My dad and I...go here regularly for lunch, so our experience is always of superb service and yummy food. I don’t know if “regulars “ get better service than tourists or first-timers, but this area has MANY restaurant options, and we choose to return here about once a month or more. This time I indulged in one of my favorites, the French Toast— a great choice here. Other terrific entrees include the Greek Sampler Platter, Pastitsio, Moussakka, Spanakopita, and the Eggs Benedict. The fries are adequate, same as the side salads. The grits and matzoh ball soup are excellent. Their bread pudding and rice pudding are superb. I have never tried any of the other desserts because the bread & rice puddings always call to me! Sometimes they are short staffed, esp during covid— be patient and just relax and enjoy a leisurely meal. If you want fast food, go somewhere else. The bathrooms are clean— although one of the stalls has a bad latch. But there are three stalls, so there you go. Free and easy parking. ALSO, they will prepare meals to go; my dad loves to order extra entrees to feast upon during the week. Portion sizes are generous. Highly tecommend. I love that this is a family owned business, not a chain.More

The banana nut pancakes were so delicious (despite not having actual bananas). My husband had the French toast and my son the chicken and waffles which were also very good. We really enjoyed the coffee as well - note though that we are not fans...of Starbucks as it is too bitter for us. Fun decor and excellent service - with the virus we were one of very few tables. We felt comfortable eating in.More

While not focused on service, they got around to seating us and then got around to taking orders. The food was quite good and met all the expectations of an American Diner. The atmosphere was appropriate and overall an enjoyable experience for a lunch.

my open faced grilled cheese, bacon & tomato was soggy. My friend’s monte cristo was dry and sent back, replacement pancakes were slightly undercooked and a bit bitter... we definitely won’t go back. And to add insult to injury the server was not at all...attentive.....More

I have raved about this restaurant in the past because the staff really care to do a good job and the food is tasty and generously portioned for the most part. Also, we love local hangouts. Sadly, I'm making a list in my head of...things to not order again. The meatloaf, which we have both tried at different points, is flavorless. The side salad was mostly toppings rather than lettuce. The side veggies are cooked until they are truly dead. I had an omelet with sausage, onion, mushroom and cheese. It was a huge disappointment. It seemed mushrooms and sausage were waved over the top rather than chopped and actually put into the omelet. The thing was positively swimming in goopy cheese, not regular cheese. Also, the first omelet that came out of the kitchen was anything but the one I ordered. Their biscuits remain excellent - something that matters to us. Their iced tea is nice and strong and glasses are refilled promptly. The staff are always friendly and helpful. It is frustrating that I can't give them a better score this time.More

Love this place. While visiting Arlington I had both dinner and breakfast here. Nothing to complain about at all. Really good food. Really great service. Really classic diner ambience. I'll definitely go back next time I'm in town.

My husband and I love this diner for breakfast. I typically get the gyro Benedict as it is really great. My husband changes his order every time and is always happy. I highly recommend their kielbasa. Skip the coffee as it is terrible. And unfortunately,...they are a Pepsi establishmentMore

Comparable to IHOP offerings, but a bit more expensive. "Big" breakfast with coffee was $13. It is a big breakfast, but over priced by at least $3 in my opinion.

This diner has a huge menu, and looked promising from all the reviews. My lunch date and I had basic diner grub: a grilled cheese sandwich with fries and a shake, and a chicken melt with onion rings. The presentation was awful -- the food...looked like it was thrown onto the plate, and the plates were either too big or the portions too small, but it did not look good. The food was flavorless, and the fries were bad. The onion rings possessed no crunch. The shake was alright, making it the star of the meal. To top it all off, Fox News was playing on the television. I will not return.More
