What a great experience. My wife ordered the grilled squid that was very tasty. My meal was the 3 piece filet of sole that had an outstanding light batter and the 3 pieces was way more than I could eat. Each meal came with potatoes...and rice again in very generous portions. Had the complete Chicken Dinner, with Rice, Salad and Potatoes and the portions were not only generous, but the quality was very good. The Potatoes were not too hard and not too soft and were excellent. Same with the Rice and the Salad very tasty....As for the Chicken it was moist, well marinated and a decent size. Another very important issue, was the temperature of the Food, it was hot as it should be. Nothing is worse than a luke warm or cold meal. The customer service was very polite and professional. You pay a bit more, but you get so much more. The establishment was also very clean and had a nice ambience, Will definitely go back.More
I went with my husband for lunch. My husband had ribs and I had a fish called "espada"in Portuguese. It was delicious and I felt very good having a very healthy meal. Not our first time in this family oriented restaurant. I'm sure we are...going back .More
Our server was very pleasant and efficient. I asked, and he explained that he is of Portugese extraction. My meal was a bit of a surprise -- my fault, as I did not ask. I ordered Chilean sea bass, and I assumed it would be...a filet. Instead it was the whole fish. I therefore spent a great deal of the time trying to avoid the many small bones. The fish itself was delicious. My friend ordered halibut, and he got two large pieces of halibut steak, which he said was delicious. Halibut is not shown on the menu. You have to ask for it. The cost of our meals was very reasonable. It is very casual dining -- no fancy trappings, and there is lots of parking, as it is located at one end of a plaza.More

Fantastic food. Be careful when you pay. My first time ordering I wasnt certain on the prices. Once I picked up my food and looked at the menu, I realized they had charged me twice for my order. When I called, she told me I...had made a mistake and I wasn't overcharged but the withdrawal from my account confirmed I was right. They never tried to correct it. Not a typical busy restaurant for Dine in meal but definitely busy for take out. We had our meal dine in, and we enjoyed the food. The food was Authentic Portuguese and was good portions. The Lamb was excellent and my guest ordered the Sardines...and said it was very good. The restaurant decor is not great but it does have a store attached to it for some traditional Portuguese food items. Service was good although the Owner and server and cashier were the same person. Overall a good experience. Great for a family outing.More
We tried this place for the first time tonight. The chicken was delicious and moist, we had the parisienne potatoes potatoes and fries to go with it. The serving size, portions and price were good. The fries were just frozen fries. There is seating but...we did take-out. The menu is not huge with lots of seafood and chicken selections. They also have some Portuguese frozen foods and other food items for sale there.More
First the good. The breads are delicious, the fried fish sardines are good. Fries were freshly done and the portions were large. The service is good and pleasant. The cod cakes needed more flavour. The chicken sandwich was bland and the chicken salad did not...taste like it was grilled and put in the salad immediately after. Steak sandwich was average. Manager saw that I only took one bite of the sandwich and did not charge for the meal.More

The food here is absolutely delicious! VERY well seasoned and they always give you heaping, large portions. So much food what I always end up splitting the food between two meals or two people. Plus, the food is VERY affordable. Would definitely recommend!
Based on a word of mouth referral we decided to try this restaurant in Ajax, near Taunton and Westney Road. Small place with bright florescent lighting and very cheap cutlery. We sat down and ordered the chicken and lamb mains. We were pleasantly surprised at...the large amount of rice and potatoes and swiss chard that was served with the chicken and lamb. The chicken and lamb were delicious no doubt marinated and slow cooked dishes due to the fact the meat fell off the bone. The service was a little slow and the waiter was a little dopey, forgetting to bring us our second round of drinks but overall the food quality was great and we will be back.More
