DO NOT order an italian cold cut. Tons of mayonnaise and ridiculously thick cut tomato tops a pile of lunch meat that is nothing close to an italian cold cut. Unless you're ok with bologna, imported ham and one piece of salami. All smashed into...a styrofoam container in a way so that when you open it everything falls out onto your lap. Looks like an open roll that everything was layered on top of.More

The food at slice of Italy is very good, the service is always great. the prices are very reasonable the amount of food you get for the dollar you spend is great. My wife and I go there all the time. We love the place.

My father is originally from New York in our family from Sicily. He was a restaurant owner in San Antonio Texas. His best customer was Johnny Cash. This restaurant makes excellent pizza. Please patronize them. You will not be sorry.

During vacation there came the need to hit the local Walmart. It was lunch time so we opted for pizza. I never expect much from these places so usually dont do a review. This experience, however, needs mentioning. They do have a menu that covered...far more then just pizza. Being unable to have tomato, I did notice they had several pizzas to choose from ready to be sold by the slice. I saw one without tomato. Looked like Alfredo sauce. I asked for it and was rudely told it wasn't Alfredo. Ok. Prices were high but servings were substantial. The food was fair. There were tables to sit at. Drinks were serve yourself and several were in need of changing. Now here is where things get interesting. We must have shown up during an inspection. The manager and owner sat down at the table directly behind us. I felt very uncomfortable at how they kept staring at us. Two of us are disabled. As we were leaving we had some trouble maneuvering between tables. Rather then assist us these two men complained that we were scratching their furniture. Every piece of furniture in that place was scratched yet they made a scene in front of other customers about a scratch they believed we made. They were very unprofessional. I am just a visitor to this state, however the rest of the group let them know they would never do business there again.More

Good pizza from a place at walmart, you bet. We were in a hurry and just wanted something to take home and can you really screw up pizza too bad? We were very surprised that it was really good and a great price. Over the...past couple of years we have been making trips to walmart for the pizza and grabbing a couple things (certainly don't go for walmart!). I highly recommend the pizza and wings, which are traditionally made and really good too. Oh, and they have gelato for if you really don;t want to shop while waiting!More

Pathetic attempt at an Italian eatery. American Pizza, which you would NEVER find an Italian eating. Tons of gummy dough with, gallons of red sauce. Reminds me of the so-called Mexican dining here where they dump brown sauce on everything and cal it Mex. Ugh.

Who cares where it is located, this pizza was fabulous. You had best come hungry when you get the chicago!!!! The New York was good also. I love that I can get both at the same place. You have to add this one to your...list of stops!! Prices were reasonable and the chicago dish will fill you!!!!!!!!!!!More

I'm always surprised at how many items there are on the menu for a Walmart-based restaurant. The staff is always cheerful. Their deserts are great too - canoli, gelato.

First off this place is in a Walmart, you read that right, Walmart. I was getting a few things and thought I'd give it a try. I ordered a calzone. It was the size of a football and damn good too. This is a full...Italian restaurant, tables and all. Give it a try, and while your there pick up some crap from Walmart.More

We went there because I had a coupon. It is a budget place, you order at the counter and wait for your number to be called. In the main room is a large TV on the wall, they were showing a football game. The place...is inside Walmart but it would be good to have lunch there even if not shopping. I had a grilled chicken gyro, Coke, Caesar salad. Even the salad and dressing were very good. My gyro was full of chicken and toppings, very good and very filling. Drinks are self serve so you can get refills. One person had a chicken salad sandwich, it was so over-stuffed that she took half of it home. he other person had a chicken cheese steak with fries, also very good. It was crowded but the noise level was fine. We didn't wait too long for our food and it was all hot. I'll go back again.More

I begrudgingly stopped here because I prefer not to shop hungry. I asked the lady at the counter if she could do an Italian cold cut on a wrap...she thought about it and said she could give it a try. This was absolutely the best...Italian cold cut I've ever had. Amazing. Too much to eat. My boyfriend got the chicken salad special and there was probably 3 sandwiches worth of chicken salad on top. Highly recommended. Despite it being in Walmart, I'll be back. :)More
