We visited the morning of 3/25/22 and had pancakes, cinnamon coffee cake and a chocolate muffin between the 3 of us. All very good. Also, and iced caramel coffee drink and a cup of hazelnut coffee also very good. We'd go back if they had...one here in STL.More

I can no longer recommend this franchise. Food is not prepared properly at least 90% of the time and their management team is rude. On 22-Mar-2022, I dined in and ordered the choose two: a Chicken Pomodori panini and the mac and cheese. I also...ordered a cinnamon crumb muffin. The panini was made incorrectly (see menu description screen print). No tomato, no spinach, one piece of basil, and next to no chicken on the sandwich. The mac and cheese had red pepper flakes poured all over the top of it which has never been the case in the past, and the menu does not indicate the breadcrumbs have red pepper flakes mixed in them or that that menu item is spicy (see menu description screen print). Uneatable. The cinnamon crumb muffin was dried out. When I complained, a manager came to my table and argued with me saying the mac and cheese had always been made that way. Um, no. My gall bladder is sensitive to spicy food and has been for years. Again, the menu does not indicate the item is spicy and at no time in the past was it prepared this way. She argued with me despite advising her I had been eating there for well over 5 years and the item had never been prepared this way in the past. When I told her I didn't plan on coming back in the future, she walked away from my table and gave me a thumbs-up, implying she liked that I'm not coming back. Seriously. . . I talked to their district manager on duty, John Westermajer, and there was no apology for his manager's behavior. I only knew to ask for him because I had complained to him two years back when we had repeated problems at this location, including unresolved billing disputes. Instead, he tried to make me feel like I misinterpreted her behavior, yet he wasn't even there and didn't even know which manager I was referring to.More

this was a great place to eat. People at the counter were very helpful. Food was good and not very expensive. They even have Coke products and not Pepsi!

Had breakfast here for all three days we were in Leawood. Such good friendly service and delicious, fresh food. Almost felt bad about leaving....

I was quite impressed by this place my first time being Mother's Day & the whole experience was what a good Mother's Day should be. We even had a conversation with an adjoining family and we sat in the very back of the restaurant. The...second visit was just average and ate what is called a "Commuter Croissant" which was bland. The rest of the group enjoyed their meal. I'm not a big fan of ordering at a counter and having the food brought to the table. This is not exactly a place that reeks personality in it's staff, at least on the Sunday morning we were there. Not evident is a manager.More

Not your traditional breakfast but fresh baked goods and excellent ice tea in a homey environment. Since they really don't have competition in the area, prices are larger than the proportions.

Tried lunch months ago and it wasn't great so didn't go back until friends wanted to meet for breakfast this week because it is open on Sunday. It is in a very convenient location so was disappointed that it was a mediocre meal. Scrambled eggs...had no flavor, bacon was so greasy I couldn't eat it, fruit was mushy, toast was just ok (arrived too cold to melt butter), coffee not good either. I measured the average decibel on the SoundPoint app and it was an average of 77 and a max of 83 before it filled up. You have to go to counter to place order but they bring it to the table.More

This restaurant is awesome. Went there for lunch and everyone in our group really enjoyed our meals. Service was outstanding as well. The sandwiches are quite large. If you aren’t really hungry you could definitely split one with someone else.

We were heading to the REI store and wanted some lunch. This was our first time to go to a Corner Bakery Cafe. Our service was fast and friendly and the food was good. Delicious soups and salads. The REI store was maybe 2 blocks...away, so we were able to walk there afterward.More

The manager and staff was really helpful and nice when my boyfriend and I's order was made wrong. They accidently gave us the wrong sandwich. They were really nice about it. The manager ordered us a new sandwich that was the correct one, and instead...of giving us a half like we ordered, he gave us a full sandwich. He also threw in a pastry and an extra bag of chips just for our troubles (even though there were really no troubles at all). Even the staff was very helpful and asked us if everything was okay throughout our meal. Would definitely recommend. The food was amazing! Kind of like Panera but with a better selection of food but not pastries.More

I just needed something light for supper and came across this place. It wasn't bad. They were short on iced tea but other than that the place was clean and food was good.

Saw this Corner Bakery while doing some shopping, since I don't have one where I live but have heard about it being good, decided to try out a quick lunch. Place was pretty and decorated very nice. Smelled nice inside. I ordered the Spinach salad,...and didn't realize until after I had eaten and left, they forgot to put my chicken on the salad. Oh well. I wanted something sweet also, but didn't see anything that was appealing, which was disappointing.More

We have visited many Corner Bakery Cafes, and this one had the same wonderful food. They did mess up a few of our orders and were too slow in correcting the mistakes (we were done eating and still didn't have the replacement food). The kid's...meal is a great deal, a LOT of food for a good price. We love all the baked goods, but the lemon bar and blueberry lemon hand pie are perfection!More
