Four of us enjoyed an excellent meal at Café Largo. It was Wednesday and the place only had a couple of other tables full—one was a large birthday party. The restaurant is clean and inviting. Our server, the wife of the couple that owns the...place, was very sweet and helpful. The food was all delicious. We shared an order of the appetizer scallops and the foie gras. For mains we had a fantastic veal chop and delicious lamb chops and a couple branzino. For dessert we enjoyed the chocolate mousse, the ice caffe glace and their homemade ice cream--all wonderful. It’s nice to have an option for some excellent wines. The Margaux was very good, but the Pomerol was even better. Café Largo is an excellent choice for any kind of special event dinner. I hope it won’t be too long until our next visit.More

We’ve been to this restaurant annually for several years. Surprised to find new ownership. Amazingly the food and service are still perfect. How did Largo get so lucky? Escargot, duck, apple tart, and good wine to match.

During a recent stay at Redington Beach, we finally had a chance to visit Cafe Largo. We had read an article about the new owners (over a year ago) and placed it high on our list of restaurants to visit. We wanted to experience the...European innovations that were being introduced by the new owners. What a couple! She turned out to be a perfectly delightful hostess and he is an absolutely amazing chef. Cafe Largo is a truly European experience. Everything was perfection from appetizer to dessert. Unique flavors, scents and textures from beginning to end. The menu is regularly changed so new experiences are readily available. Steak to seafood with something for everyone in between. Definitely a must dine experience! A true local gem.More

This was absolutely the best, and I’ve had in the world in decades! We came for a nice bottle of wine, and an appetizer on the recommendation of friends, and ended up eating four courses …. each spectacular! The chef has an amazing pallet! The...wine pairing was perfect! We will be back again, and again and again!More

After having dinner at the French Laundry in Yountville, CA today, we both agree that Cafe Largo has the the best food and presentation of any restaurant we’ve been in. Chef Linus and Yvonne are by far the most pleasant and professional owners of any...fine dining restaurant in the area.More

We had a family birthday celebration here. The dinners were delicious - all of them! Our entrees were duck, filet, lobster tail, ravioli, and Wiener schnitzel. Everyone was perfect. We also enjoyed the Riesling soup. We even sampled most of the desserts which are made by...Chef Linus, too. The Mille Feuilles were outstanding. Our service by Yvonne was personal and unhurried. It was a wonderful way to celebrate a family birthday.More

We recently returned to Cafe Largo where we have enjoyed meals in the past. This was our first visit since Linus and Yvonne have acquired the restaurant. The evening exceeded our expectations in every way. The minor tweaks and changes to the menu are perfect....The menu has something for everyone and our meal was perfectly prepared. The wine list has been updated with great choices at various price points. Yvonne is the perfect host and makes you feel at home immediately. Our service was perfect. It was so nice to have Linus leave his busy kitchen and come to each table to greet his guests. How refreshing to meet the person creating your food. It reminded us of our visit to France where we often met the owner and chef when dining in a small cafe or bistro. We will be more frequent diners now that we know what a gem we have in our neighborhood.More

We celebrated my birthday yesterday evening at Cafe Largo. My husband and I are both French and truly appreciate this gem of a restaurant serving authentic fine French cuisine. I was so looking forward to dinner because we have dined there before and it was...spectacular. Our experience was every bit as wonderful last night. Everything was perfect from start to finish. As first courses, the smoked salmon with celery salad and the coquille st jacques with puff pastry were absolutely delicious. As main courses, we both selected the veal chop served with vegetables and a second side dish. I chose the potatoes gratin and my husband requested ratatouille. We both agreed that this dish was absolute perfection. I selected the tarte au pomme for dessert which was as delicious as the wonderful pastries I've enjoyed in France. My husband enjoyed a nicely presented cheese plate. I should add that our champagne and wine selection were also wonderful. The owners, Chef Linus and his wife, Yvonne, are truly delightful. We are looking forward to our next memorable dining experience at Cafe Largo. Congratulations to Chef Linus and Yvonne on the one year anniversary of the opening of Cafe Largo! Valérie & AlainMore

This truly is a new restaurant. It isn't Cafe Largo, the once very French experience. If they would just re-brand themselves as Swiss or European, they would be better off.

We had grouper special that was served with a sauce and a tenderloin with a bearnaise sauce. Both were cooked to perfection and delicious. We both enjoyed dessert that was also perfect.
