Our whole family went for my birthday. We had our 2 mth old granddaughter with us. Instead of seating us on the left where the music was more muted they put us on the other side where the music was blasting. So on my birthday...I had to take the baby outside the restaurant and sit with her while everyone ate dinner. They did not care and I will not go back. So I never even got to taste the food. Horrible customer serviceMore

Pupu was filled with frozen apps you can get from the supermarket. Drunken noodles were smothered in sauce overcooked and chicken and beef were microwaved and placed on top. Our server was lovely however runners brought out dishes asking us to remove dirty app dishes...as if we were part of the staff. For the prices they charge I would expect better service and higher quality of food.More

This was our first visit and we came for the Endless Sushi Special. We enjoyed the sushi selections and our waitress was very attentive. However, if we didn't want mixed drinks, the beverage choices are very lacking. They offer weak, hot, green tea, or espresso...or soda. None of those choices was what we wanted. No coffee, or black tea or iced tea. Why? I would have liked to get an appetizer or two (but they were expensive so we passed) The sushi was good and we ate all we wanted. Probably won't be back though.More

The food at Red Lantern is delicious. Portions are good sized. Drinks were fun. We were seated at the worst table - next to the bar and servers station. It was so noisy and busy with traffic. And the busy bartender was our waitress .The...bench is too low for the table making it uncomfortable and the A/C was blowing on us the whole night. We asked to relocate but we were told no - despite many empty tables for our entire seating. The host seems to be overwhelmed with the reservation system and can't seat people efficiently. Tough to recommend.More

Our reservations were for 6:30 and we got there at 6:15 and were seated in a corner with no view of anything except a wall. The waitress came over at about 6:35 and asked if we wanted drinks to which we said yes and ordered...them. We waited another 15 minutes before the drinks came. My drink was $17 and tasted great but the glass was sticky. We finished our drinks and waited. And waited. At 7:10 the waitress came back over to get our order. We ordered a shrimp app, some rolls and 2 entrees (curry chicken and the steak). We ordered more drinks. And then waited again. And waited. The shrimp appetizer came out and it was excellent. We finished it and still no drinks. The drinks finally came when the rolls came out and my drink was in the same glass with the same ice cube as the first drink I got. The glass was even more sticky. The rolls were excellent. Tasty. Then the entrees came out. And we ordered one more drink. My third drink never came and my wife’s drink came after we we were done with the entrees. The entrees were horrible. They were not tasty, they came out looking nothing like the way they were described - the chicken was dry and coated with a bad tasting paste. The steak was extra fatty and had no real steak flavor. In summary, be prepared to wait a very long time for overpriced drinks, really bad entrees but the morale of the story here is drink before you go and load up only on the rolls and shrimp app as those were very good.More

I had dinner with my mom here last night. We always book the red lantern when we come to foxwoods it’s almost a no brainer. Things started off okay until our waitress stopped checking up on us. We didn’t order much food at all so...we expected to be in and out so as to be on time for our concert. She left us the bill and didn’t come back to get my card. She walked by several times tending to other tables. We had to take the bill to the host and he took care of it. Come to find out this morning that they charged my card twice, once for our bill and again for someone else’s bill. This resulted in my account getting overdrafted. I had to wait til 5pm when they opened to speak to a manager. He was very dismissive and unapologetic for what had happened and tried to brush it off as a “card authorization”. He showed no sympathy and did not extended any apologies on behalf of his staffs negligence. I will not be returning to this dump sadly.More

They have a special menu once a week where you can get unlimited plates for around $50/pp. I thought it was a good concept. I didn't like that you can't make substitutions or allowances for wanting different items. I also thought it was tacky to...post "no sharing and clean your plate" on the menu, idk that's just me. It makes the menu very limited for those who don't eat pork or other things. I think the menu definitely needs more vegan options. Overall the vibe was nice in there (kind of dark) and the server we had was pleasant. The quality of the food was average... some of it was dry, especially the meats.More

After having a bad night at David Burke the night before, we decided to try this place out. First time there and we were not disappointed. Four words describes this place. OUT OF THIS WORLD. Unbelievable Lobster Rangoon... General Gau's entree spectacular, my wife's lo...mien the same. Everything great, atmosphere reminded me of the older Chinese Restaurants of the past. And to top it off we had a wonderful bartender named Kara. So nice and helpful. Can't wait to go back. Don't hesitate to try this place, you won't be disappointed.More

Our dinner here was the one good thing about our stay at Foxwoods. We were seated relatively quickly. They seated us at the bar because we didn’t have a reservation, which was odd since they didn’t seem very busy. But the bartender was fantastic, so...we didn’t mind in the end. We ordered a couple of mai tais, seaweed salad, calamari, and 4 sushi rolls. Service was quick and food was very good. Highly recommend eating here if you find yourself at Foxwoods.More

Strolling into the Red Lantern is like entering a vibrant subterranean world. As one's eyes adjust, a host appears with menus and ushers one to a preferred destination. Settling in, my wife and I soaked in the lively sounds and were soon welcomed by the...eatery's veteran server Kara. Quickly we sensed this'd be a unique dining experience - and we were spot on. For soon appeared two generous appetizers - a steaming bowl of lightly salted edamames and a luscious offering of lobster Rangoon. (Superbly prepared and presented but alas with scant lobster.) But casually sipping green tea, next we gazed on a bona fide world-class entree - beef teriyaki noodles (a hefty dish superb for splitting). And imagine beef as tender and tastefully marinated as it gets (ever); and being immersed in succulent noodles dotted with saucy herbed vegetables, the dish stayed warm for the duration. So let's summarize: The Red Lantern distinguishes itself as a stellar destination. With a perky staff committed to excellence, generous servings and an upbeat atmosphere, expect to make memories.More

Went to Red Lantern tonight at Foxwoods in CT and I was VERY disappointed. My mother ordered the Surf and Turf ( which of course wasn't cheap) and it was charred and chewy, a terrible piece of meat. She took one bite of the filet...and then ordered other food voicing her displeasure with the meal. We received absolutely no credit and were charged for both meals. I will never go back. Btw David Burke Prime was awesome at foxwoods go there instead!More

We always eat at this restaurant when at Foxwoods. This time was the last. My husband sushi was expensive with tiny pieces of fish and not that fresh food was just ok. ..nit only has the food not to our liking anymore I even had...asked if they had changed cooks. No was answer. The main sealing the deal was we apparently were 15 minutes late ( thought we were in time) after 5 min discussion with hostess we were finally seated. When we left the restaurant was still half empty. Will just go to TAO at Mohegan for Asian bistroMore
