I like the variety and care the sushi bar offers. Everything is fresh and very well prepared, not just by taste but also for the eyes.

I've been there many times. The place is "Old School" looking, but they have great sushi. Their rolls are great but their more traditional sushi is excellent too. They have chicken and beef teriyaki which is cooked, as well as tempura. All of it is...above average.More
This restaurant is within waking distance from the Embassy Suites. Sushi was great but the teriyaki beef was very tough and wouldn't recommend it. I would have given 5 stars if I just ate the sushi. I had to spit out the beef as it...was like chewing on rubber bands. Service was great but highly encourage just eating the sushi.More
Don't waste your money. Really bad customer service. The food is ok but customer service is not worth ever returning here again.
I had several rolls and they were all very tasty. The waitstaff was a little slow, but that might be because I sat at the sushi bar.
Right in the heart on Old/New Downtown Downey the perfect place to have a bite before and after a move date. the Downey Walk-in is right across the Street. The Food is fantastic from multiple Choices of Sushi Tempura and Soups and wonerful service and...atmosphereMore
Small and cozy with good food, their Tiger Rolls are a must eat. Service is okay and there is a wait if you go at night due to the limited space but the location is great. close to shops, bar's and movie theatre.
I've been here before on a Friday or Saturday night and have had to wait at least half an hour for a seat so i was happy to find a couple seats right away at the sushi bar this last time i went. There's another...spot i also like to go but its way out in OC so i decided to go here and was very happy with the quality of the sushi, very fresh, cold and good flavor (a great combination). I also tried something new called an oyster shooter and was not disapointed at all. They have a small parking lot but there is a parking structure that has several floors as there is a movie theatre across the street so you can always find parking. Don't expect to find $$ cheap sushi here, remember you get what you pay for when it comes to sushi.More
