We were less than impressed, the wait was an hour for our order to arrive. The food was OK for the price, we decided not to return again.

My wife and I were not impressed. The other 2 in our party said it was ok. ok does not cut it. We had gone there becaus they wanted MX food. When I ordered I requested flour tortilla but they refused. I should have left...then. The service was very slow. Perhaps they were busy on the other side I dont know. I do not recomend this restaraunt.More

Used to live in Blythe and decides to eat here while coming back to visit family. I don't know if this place has changed or my taste has. My husband and I love Mexican food and it's sad to say we both agreed the food...was sub par. It was borderline overcooked, very salty and the restaurant itself looked dirty. Just look up at the fixtures! I had to take a trip to the bathroom and found bait traps under the sink, no paper towels and bathroom looked very neglected. Locals love this place but I think they just don't have much better options??More

When ever we are in Blythe, we make a point of stopping here. Over the last 20 years, we have never been disappointed. Friendly service and great food. The interior is a bit shabby, but appears clean

We stopped in here based on word of mouth from three locals as well as the high ratings from Trip Advisor. The result was pretty disappointing. With the High recommended from word-of-mouth and Trip Advisor, I expected this to be some pretty amazing Mexican food....It was not. To be clear, it was not bad, it just wasn't good enough to merit the ratings from the website and the locals. My group had three entrees: Two taco plate, Two red burrito plate, and Carnitas plate. First impression from all at the table is that the dish was virtually made of salt. I mean it was literally the overwhelming flavor in every dish. We did all eat the entree, but that salty taste was off-putting. Aside from the overuse of salt, the taco plate was deemed pretty good by the person eating it. The red chile burritos were fair -the meat was mostly fat and/or gristle- I assume they were using brisket instead of shoulder clod or chuck to make the chile. The carnitas was very poor. To quote the guy eating this plate, "it tastes like dry, crumbled pork chops." The service was very slow, despite being one of only a handful of tables at 5:30 on a Monday. We had to signal for the server on a number of occasions to bring us additional drinks, and waited a good ten minutes after we were all ready to leave before we finally accosted a server (not our server, since we hadn't seen her in twenty minutes) to bring us the check. Overall, the service was middling but leaning to the low end. One of three in our group had no complaints. One of three thought it was far too salty and the meat was sub-par. One of three thought the meat was dry and crumbly. La Casita is probably no better or worse than any other single unit mexican food in town (though I haven't researched that). The food isn't necessarily bad, but it does fail to live up to expectations. If you can't get good Mexican food less than two hours from the border, where can you get it?More

We were across the border in AZ for a rock show and ventured to Blythe for dinner. Had seen the reviews and decided to give La Casita Dos a try. Atmosphere was OK but the food was delicious. I had the cheese enchilada/ chili relleno...combo and my wife had the sombrero (fried flour tortilla with cheese, lettuce and tomato) with carne asada. Both were realky good. I would like to go back and try some other offerings.More

Used to go to La Casita all the time. Moved awhile back and have been in awhile. Had dinner the other night and made a to go order. Man I missed place but brought some home with me. Had them load me up with salsa...and chips and a couple of burritos. Chowed down on the rellano taco and enchilada combo. I will be back in a couple weeks for business. See you soonMore

We spent one night at the Clarion hotel in Blythe. Used Trip Advisor to find a good restaurant. This one did not disappoint. We decided to get our order to go and relax in our room. Ordered a bean tostada, beef taquito, beef burrito with...Verde sauce. It was all perfect. Price was very reasonable. Got a side of guacamole for the tostada. It was so filling and yummy. The other reviews about the beans were right on. They were fresh. The service was very good. The meal was delivered to me in a cardboard box which made it very easy to transport back to the hotel room. Great meal!More

Between Phoenix and Palm Springs, there is almost nothing. Desert Center. Dead. Blythe? At first sight, just the ordinary interstate exit with a couple of gas stations and fast food shops. But then, is it the color of the wall, the name or je ne...sais quoi that attracts you to this place ... ? We are not specialists of Mexican food, so we cannot evaluate its authenticity. We have been lucky, reading the TA-reviews only afterwards. Welcome was warm and friendly. Service efficient. Interior decoration simple but charming. And the food ... well it was just delicious. Great 45 minutes of relaxation on a long, boring road.More

Phoenix to wherever. Had a small bite... bean and guacamole tostadas for both of us. Excellent. Great service. Beans are really good. A rating by CA Health. Very clean. Get off the 10 at Lovekin, go north to McDonalds. Turn left (Rice St) and it's...on your left. You won't be disappointed.More
