Picked up pizza to go and they gave me slivered ham on the pizza that had prosciutto on the menu. I would have rather they told me they didn’t have it, so I could get a different pizza.. they were super friendly and service was...great for while I was there! But the pizza wasn’t greatMore

Amazing pizzeria in the center of Kyoto, just a few minutes of walking distance from the Nishiki Market. We came from Italy and we did not foresee we would find such a good representation of Italian pizza so far from home, clearly a work of...love and true dedication. The staff is really welcoming and nice: we had a lovely chat with the Italian waiter, and when they discovered we were in Japan for our honeymoon, the pizzaiolo himself dedicated us an accordion serenade: pizza making wasn’t the only thing he learned during his time in Italy! Highly recommended to anyone that wants to enjoy a good pizza and a nice mix of Japanese and Italian hospitality in the middle of Kyoto.More

Super friendly staff and wonderful tuscan style pizza. I am from Connecticut (Northeast part of the U.S.) and we take pizza seriously, and I thought this pizza was delicious. A nice break from Japanese food! There is a good pasta/appetizer/salad selection as well, and some...good Italian wine selections. They do wines by the glass, carafe, or bottle. They also have beer/cocktails. We got a salad and the meatballs to start, their marinara was amazing, very tasty. The salad was a great size (and was nice to switch up to a salad for vegetables). And then we got 2 pizzas for 2 of us, they are “personal” size, but we only both ate about half of ours. We did have a later lunch though. We went on a Sunday and got there right when they opened, they filled up quickly. We sat at the bar so we could watch the pizza being made. Recommend going early or making reservations if it is peak season.More

The store looks unassuming from outside but is an absolutely incredible experience. Not a single bad thing to say about the appetizers, drinks or pizza we had. The service was quick and very attentive and the staff spoke great English. Would 100% recommend

As promised an English speaking staff. The pizza was a generous size and can be shared. Sharable salad as well. Smoked oysters were tasty and the overflowing fries a big hit with our 10 year old son.

Great place, delicious pizza. The staff speaks outstanding English and some of the staff even went out of their way to tell us about a big festival going on in Kyoto in the next couple of days, 10/10.

The pizza was okay. We had to wait for a long time for our pizzas. We could see around other tables that they didn’t get the pizzas all at once but with approximately 10-15 minutes in between. So it’s either you eat it when you...get it or you have to wait for the rest. Which is such a shame. If you eat here then don’t be a too big of a group.More

When in Kyoto, this is a must visit. There’s a reason you need to book, or wait for a table as the food and service is outstanding! We had the pleasure of pizza, garlic bread and the delicious meatballs (special), and would happily return again...and again for the same. The wait staff are sensational… loved everyone we spoke to … very helpful and made our night !More

This restaurant is very quaint with the best salad, pizza, wine and lemon cello! It was our first night in Kyoto and we wanted something other than fish. This was a great find! We’ll be going back before we leave this city.
