Nice place, good service, great food. Overall Italian, with a Chilean touch such as lots of salmon and some centolla.

I live in the neighborhood and eat at Azzurro a couple of times each year, but was really blown away by the meal they served us for dinner last Friday. First came the mojito, which rivalled anything I was served in Havana last year. Next...the three of us shared a ceviche which consisted of twin shaped mounds of small cubes of sashimi marinated in lemon juice with onion, coriander and a touch of picante, one of the mounds with salmon and the one next to it a white fish, perhaps congrio or corvina, both memorably delicious in texture and taste. For the main dish I ordered Sorrentinos with filling of beef short ribs. The Sorrentino is a pasta shell slightly larger that ravioli. The filling was not overdone as I expected but rosy pink just as I ordered it. All garnished with tasty gravy and generous parmesan cheese. Truly outstanding! The waitstaff were attentive and cheerful. A wonderful dining experience.More

Azzurro is the place to eat pasta in Puerto Montt. You can find a big selection of creative dishes such as sorrentinos de cordero, spaghetti de merquen al filetto, cannelloni de ají de gallina. As a starter, the ceviche of salmon is recommended. Other options...are pizza or salads. Good wine lists, you can find quite good wines for a reasonable price. Azzurro is located 5-10 minutes from the center of Puerto Montt by taxi.More

The staff was very upset when we arrived with my daughter and her service dog. We simply showed them the certified card with the law written on it and they said it didn't matter, they would not seat us. The restaurant was empty so we...just seated ourselves which upset them even more. Several phonecalls were made and then we were told to go sit out on the terazza--it was a cold, rainy day and we declined to take our five young kids (two with severe physical disabilities) to sit out in the cold rain. If we didn't have to catch a flight soon we would have left but they finally agreed to take our money. If you still decide to eat there, order the fried crab pincers as an appetizer, those were excellent. The pasta entrees were very basic, just order the spaghetti and you probably won't be disappointed.More

I've been twice at the Azzurro, as a friend of mine like their salmón- loco sorrentinos a lot. I was looking forward to taste their beer, but it wasn't very good (apart that quite expensive). Had the asado de tira sorrentinos; nothing special. I do...like their ceviche a lot, have good selection of wine and service. But overall it's just an ok, nice place.More

Shared 3 pasta dishes with friends and was so amazed with the taste. Made from scratch everything with bold flavors both traditional Italian and a Chilean twist from the sea.

We decided spontaneously to go there for dinner - Thursday night. It was already crowded when we arrived but the friendly waitress took care of us immediately and arranged a nice table next to the window. The food was really good but not to cheap....Only "negative" is without a car you have to take a taxi from the city Centre. But the food, wine and service is absolutely worth it!More

Had a wonderful lunch here with business associates. I ordered the lamb with pesto ravioli (stuffed sorrentino's). The tomato/meat sauce was lovely and so flavorful. The appetizers/tapa's were wonderful and all so different. I especially loved the salmon ceviche. Also, the staff here was incredibly...helpful and spoke very good English. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you are visiting Puerto Montt.More
