Enjoyed a lovely grazing board and rose spritz on a sunny afternoon in March. Great for couples, families and doggos. Casual dining option where walk ins were welcome.

Small menu with grazing plates. Disappointed there is no lunch or dinner menu. I would have preferred something more substantial to eat. Prices similar to other wineries and olive venues. Rugs on hand if you want to have a picnic in the vineyard. Very green...property with a dam, ducks and property dog. Well maintained. Small playground.More

Lovely setting, good wine, reasonable food. But they don't really do service. QR code ordering ought to be easy, but if I have to give my date of birth, my mobile number and my email address in addition to credit card details just to pay...for lunch, that's more of my data than I want to give anyone. Tapping my card is easy - selecting from an online menu on my phone and then having to fil in a form and then get a pin from my bank (also on my phone) to pay is noticeably less so. We had booked a table and staff knew we were waiting to be seated, but after they attended to the couple in front of us, we waited quite a bit longer than it takes to see two people to a table when you're not busy. That was the first false note. Then we were seated, pointed in the direction of the QR code and left to it. I understand that some people might like this, but at a winery, some interaction with staff, information about the wine and little details like recommending ordering extra bread if choosing the farm platter for two people would have been really helpful. The platter was the next false note. It came with three pieces of bread for two people, but the platter included things that require bread like a dip and a pot of olive oil. I have no idea what they thought we would use to eat all of it - it seems like a cynical strategy to extort maximum dollar and ensure that people pay the (not exactly extortionate) $4 for 5 extra pieces of bread. Which I would have happily done if I'd known about it initially (but no service) and the cost wouldn't have been significant in terms of being able to enjoy the platter. The next false note - the platter came out but our drinks didn't arrive until we were halfway through eating. At one point I wondered if we would be finished before they arrived. I'd expect drinks to arrive before food in any place that had half a clue about service, but presumably because the drinks were at the bottom of the order, they came out last. Hopeless. It feels like Green Olive uses QR code ordering to create a kind of distance between the customer and the staff that means the staff have much less to do. They don't care about the customer: they're just after maximum dollar for minimum effort. My husband really liked their Shiraz and said he would have bought a bottle of it if the service had been better, but he wasn't going to give them any more of our business after such poor service, so their loss.More

Visited this idyllic winery using a gift card. The food was first class, wine light and crispy, service engaging and helpful. Having the Arthur seat chair lift experience was an added bonus .

What a super place. We called in here on our way back from Sorrento to Mount Eliza having been recommended to it by our accommodation hosts and we weren’t disappointed. Two of us took up the offer of wine tasting paddle (something new to me)...and we opted for a Charcuterie Plate and Farm Plate Grazing Platters - just wonderful. It’s a very relaxing spot and wonderful to see all the fresh fruit, vegetables and herbs growing in the garden, not to mention all the olive trees and grapes.More

A very beautiful setting, and platter menu was good but make sure to order extra bread as you will need it. Prices were on the higher side. Service was by QR code ordering and a little slow considering all ingredients were cold. Two hour time...limit on tables.More

Visited Green Olive today using a gift voucher from family. Had a choice of platters with water, desert and coffee included. Surprised to read other reviews saying the portions were poor or staff were rude. Couldn’t finish mine. Our server explained everything and brought ‘real’...menus for us to choose from. But understand everyone’s visit is different. Loved the two affectionate dogs who visited us who lived there. But I think they were just using us for a bit of ham 🤣🤣 Lemon meringue to finish which was lovely. Sweet sauce in meringue offset the thinly sliced lemons - really nice desert. Great Coffee to finish. We then walked around the duck pond stalked by the ducks who realised we had cookies and would share 🤣🤣🤣 Lots of children enjoying the games. Plus trampolines in an enclosed area. Really enjoyable visit and wouldn’t hesitate to return.More

After many fantastic family visits and gift purchases right from the early days of Green Olive, I had the most disappointing experience when I had to cancel a booking in December due to some Covid cases in our group. Rather than discussing solutions, such as...part of the group attending the brunch, the extremely rude gentleman who called himself the Manager Logan stated, ''that will be $20 per person, thanks'' and hung up. I was so shocked that I called back to hear the same statement again in a manner that was simply disrespectful. Its now 2 weeks later and I'm still upset; so for the first time ever, I leave negative review for a venue. Upsetting is not the cancellation fee of $200 but the treatment.More

This was a terrible experience. The share plates are very mean in quantity - 2 platters only enough for two people- $70 plus needed extra bread and crackers another $8. Upon arrival we were dumped at a table with no water caraffe and had to...take one from an empty table. No explanation of how it worked just “use the QR code to order menu is online”. Service is non existent. The only sighting of staff was when delivering the food. We ordered a bottle of wine and a non alcoholic drink for the driver. This was delivered in a bottle and we had to go in search of a glass! We ordered desserts and coffee via the QR code but nothing happened so when investigated it had not gone through so we decided to call it quits and go somewhere else for dessert and coffee and the staff member could not care less - $57 they did not get. Part of the problem seems to be that there are too many people jammed into the venue and no amount of “nice scenery” would entice me back. Plenty of far better places to go!More

Beautiful spot and view. But 1 staff member was a bit rude. I ask how big the plate is , because we had 5 people. She laughed at me and yelled to the back kitchen. They (the customer) thinks this is enough to share. I...was so annoyed 1. I have never been here before so I was only asking 2. If it wasn’t enough then I will get more. She didn’t have to be so rude to my face.More

The wine tasting paddles are just that. A thimble taste. I would say there is about 30 mls in each glass. So you are paying $18 to do a wine tasting. Every other paddle I have ever had has at least 100 mls or a...decent size pour. The $35 meat plate is actually $39 because you have to order more bread. But this is a common trap for meat/cheese boards. You even do the ordering yourself from QR codes. So the staff aren’t doing much. The platters aren’t that labour intensive. I don’t understand the pricing module. Total rip off.More

We had the Farmers Lunch, grazing platters were good but not enough food for the cost, desserts were disappointing, the meringue was rock hard and the parfait was frozen. On being seated we were told quite offhandedly to use the QR reader for the menu....I know you're busy but a smile takes no time. We waited 30mins for our order to be taken and then 30mins later were told we had 20mins to vacate our seats for the next sitting! We won't be back and would not recommend. Be aware there is a very steep path from the upper carpark, elderly and infirm would find it difficult.More

Way overpriced for quality of food and wine. 15% service charge for Sunday. Hefty cancellation cost unless you give at least 48 hour notice. Asked to leave after 90 minutes to make way for next sitting. Never again.
