Fantastic place, beautifully located right next to the sea. Great menu, the nachos with cheese are amazing and the fajitas excellent all washed down with a jug if strawberry Margarita. The staff friendly and helpful even in the extreme heat. Will definitely go back and...highly recommend a visit.More

The food is more Texmex than pure Mexican but is was good. The service was excellent by all the staff, just had to look in their direction and they were over to help. We called in for a late lunch and shared Totopos with guacamole....Main we shared a chicken/Beef fajitas, cabarian portions served with 6 tortillas. I asked for an additional half portion (3) but was given a further 6 and only charged for 3 at 50 cents each. 2 bottles of water and a coffee to finish 26 euros!! A bargain. All the young staff were very helpful, friendly and attentive. Limited english but Spanglish saw us through just fine.More

Food barely edible. Totally disinterested unwelcoming staff. My chilli con carne con papas was a joke! Runny wet minced beef with no beans and mixed with soggy fried sliced potato’s straight from the freezer into the fryer. Pathetic! How can you call this abomination Mexican...food? And your staff are a disgrace!More

We had nachos and tacos for lunch. The food was excellent for a fair price. Service was good during our visit. Parking is easy on a large parking lot just across the street.

The chili in the nachos was far too runny so the tortilla chips turned to mush. Good idea but poorly executed. Chicken flauta was good, rice OK, beans we're just a purée so not what we expected. The flavours are quite good but the textures...need more careMore

Poor service We have been to this restaurante quite a few times and we really enjoy it as we live here. We sat in the terrace overlooking the sea and we ordered nachos, to which we were really looking forward to it, it was a...nice breeze coming through. The nachos were delious and only half way through eating them a sand tornado came through where we were eating and covered everything in a thick layer or sand, to which we couldn't continue eating them. I called the waitress over to explain we can't eat this covered in sand, all she said was sorry and she disappeared and that was that, we were left wondering what would happen, so we l decided to pay the bill and leave, we had to pay full price for the nachos, I know it was not their fault but it wasn't ours either, but we couldn't eat our nachos with a black layer of sand we would of been happy if they said pay half price, we are not tourists, we live here and I certainly won't be recomending you again.More

Excellent Mexican Restaurant with views over Las Galletas harbour! We loved it here, the owner recommended for us to have nachos with chilli beef to start, very tasty! For our main he recommended fajita's half chicken, half beef, cooked to perfection! He definitely looked after...us and we will be back, when we go to las galletas again! Gracias Thankyou.More

If you are looking for a classical Mexican restaurant, look further because this isn’t it. It is more like a texmex version on Mexican food. Their main courses consist of mostly meat and a lot of cheddar cheese saus. Is this a bad thing, I...don’t know as you should decide for yourself. The food is very tasteful and wel prepared. We had had a lovely meal but it won’t be a restaurant where we would eat two nights in a row because their dishes are rather heavy.More

This restaurant is a perfect night out on holiday! We were staying just along the road and despite being all inclusive we still wanted to venture out and this was the perfect place! Right on the marina the views are gorgeous and the food is...amazing! (I definitely advise having the nachos for starters they are the best i have ever had) the food was fast and tasted amazing! Very reasonable price too as for me and my boyfriend had starter, a main each, and we both had 2 drinks each and the bill was only €33! (The sanfransico baby cocktails are also amazing and only €1.80 each!) i highly recommended this gorgeous place for anyone staying near by!More

Good place for everyone. Nothing too spicy and loads to eat. The margaritas went down really well and we kept on ordering more.

El Chango is in Las Galletas port. They serve Mexican food. But they only serve the typical dishes, touristy style. The staff is quite friendly, but not really organized. The prices are ok.

We came here for lunch and ordered vegetable filled tortillas (vegan) and kebab with potatoes with salad. The food tasted ok, but did not resemble Mexican cuisine at the slightest and the kebab was more a steak than a kebab. The place offers quite large...potions, which are ok for conquering hangover or big hunger if you don't expect anything special. We would have been happy with the food's price-quality ratio, but the service was almost non-existent. We waited for our bill to be collected for good ten minutes and even waved the waitress to come by. In the end we decided to scrape our coins together and pay with them, since we didn't seem to get our change back any time soon. Don't come here if you don't have exact amount of money to pay with.More

We both visited this restaurant recently whilst on holiday having previously been before. We both sat down outside, after realising that it was too windy where we sitting we decided to move tables. This was before we had even been seen by any of the...staff, at this point we had a group of 3 waitresses and a waiter all pointing over/rolling their eyes as if we had really caused a problem. We had previously visited last year and received poor service but returned as we enjoyed their nachos. However after the second time we won’t be going back, we were made to feel that we were not welcome and both felt very uncomfortable. All we wanted to do was move out of the wind and in return received smirks and all of the staff pointing over and complaining about us. Avoid.More

Mexican? The food was bland nothing Mexican about it. They sat us upstairs which was a great view but one waitress for the whole of the upstairs? No second drink as the service was poor. Wouldn’t rush back. Galletas is lovely for a walk around...though.More
