So disappointed as we had made a special effort to come here based on the reviews. There were 4-5 tables empty but we were told we could not sit at any of them - and then were rudely shown to the back room with ‘we...don’t do tapas here’. As big wine drinkers we felt very unwelcome in somewhere that should have been a favourite of our trip.More

This restaurant was recommended by a friend as a place we should go to while visiting Granada and the recommendation was spot on. The food and service were great, but it was the outstanding wine list that made our visit special. If you like the...opportunity to enjoy wines you may not have had before, this is a place you should visit.More

Really good fun…was recommended to us by some friends who know Granada well. Enormous choice of wine and the food is fresh, generous and good value. Only gripe is that they took 2 weeks to confirm our reservation, only doing so the day before. Our...best lunch in Granada!More

The place to go if you are interested in wine. They have an enormous collection, well informed servers and a wonderful set of tapas to go with the wine. You should reserve although we got a seat (we waited outside for the place to open)....You can't go wrong here with either drinks or foodMore

So lucky to get in without a reservation. The complimentary seasoned tomatoes tapa was so simple, but incredible, and our favorite dish. The giant white asparagus was delicious. The pork shoulder, aka dried ham, was okay. Dessert sampler was good. Service was disjointed and confusing....Helped ourselves to our wine bottle a couple of times. Would be happy to return and try other dishes. Recommend making a reservation as many were turned away.More

Are you into wine? Then this is your place in Granada. One of the waiters is also the sommelier. And he is one of the youngest ones in Spain but don’t let age fool you, he’s very knowledgeable. If you are lucky enough to get...one of the tables he looks after, he will be more than happy to recommend some great wines based on your taste. They serve a massive variety of wines by the glass so you can treat the occasion as a bit of a wine tasting experience. Food is very tasty, most tapas are on the cold side but still very good quality, they specialise in embutidos (cured meats). You won’t leave feeling hungry. Loved it and went there for 2 dinners out of our 3 nights in Granda.More

The wine list is much longer than most tapas bars but the food menu is very limited and a bit basic, and the wait staff has grumpy attitude even on a slow night. A tapa may or may not accompany each drink, who knows why.

Nice wine list. Enjoyed some of the dishes but some were a bit meh. Recommend the vermouth, tomatoes, and blavk pudding. Swerve the herring sardines, they weren’t much cop. Booking essential.

On a four-day visit to Grenada, Taberna La Tana was one of the best we visited. Great vermouth and tinto de verrano, and the tapas were outstanding - bread with tomatoes, olive oil, and a slice of dried sausage, assorted cheeses, and some pate were...all superb and very fresh. On a second visit we ordered some morcilla (spicy blood pudding soft and spreadable on their fresh bread) with pine nuts was delicious and the cheese assortment offered four very different sheep's milk cheeses. Service was uniformly excellent, and their outside seating area very sheltered in what is a busy area. Sit inside if you can though as it is very atmospheric. If in Granada again, we will definitely pay another visit.More

Came to visit on the high recommendation of yelp and TripAdvisor - both are usually spot on but I have to admit I was a bit disappointed overall. The wine selection and vib of the busy place was great but I thought the food was...average at best overall. The foie, tomato and anchovy tapas were delicious. The iberico ham was what one would expect, but the herring tapas was too salty (compared with ones I had in past), the pickled mussels was bland, and the tomato tapa was average tasting. Seems to have limited hot tapas to choose from - maybe it would be great if I was just looking for a quick bite with a drink before dinner, but for a dinner experience I left a bit disappointedMore

It was really busy on both occasions we visited but the staff were very friendly and welcoming and managed to squeeze us in. We had a couple of drinks and accompanying tapas. Excellent value. Definitely worth a visit.

It was delicious. I recommend strongly. Very tasty food. A wide variety including vegetarian and venison! Set in an old stone house. The owner is very welcoming. Nice atmosphere.

This was the first place I went to on a recent trip to Granada and it didn't disappoint. We had some tuna, cured meats, tomatoes and morcilla and it was all delicious. The morcilla (Spanish black pudding) was some of the best I've ever had.

This place was recommended by our lovely waitress at Palacio Los Patos (which is a great hotel) as having really good food and service, so good that local people go to it. We arrived just after opening and it was already busy but we were...found a table. We went with the wine the owner recommended, and the tapa was excellent. Ordered the tomatoes - I wish English tomatoes could taste anything like this - peppers, iberico ham, caviar and asparagus. All excellent. Please make time for this place, it's just great.More

This place is a bar with tapas. There is some seating at bar stools. But it's probably just a case of turning up and waiting for a space. There will be room so go.
