Went for lunch yesterday (Sunday) as it was opened from 12-8pm. Made the drive into town only to see the locks in the door and totally empty. Huge waste of time and I feel like this place is shut down for good. No answering machine/message...on phone.More

Awful food. Mini portions. Burnt, overcooked. Overpriced especially considering portion size. Have these people ever worked in a kitchen. Sloppy presentation with no flair. Limited bar menu. Horrible!

New servers were wonderful and attentive. Kitchen staff questionable. Portions were extremely small and we were a table of 2, there was maybe 4 other people in there, one meal came out, they were almost done eating by the time our meal came out. The...2nd meal was salmon so not something that would take a long time to prepare. Last time we were there (in December) service was slow but it was a busy night so thought we would give it another chance. Not happening. Feel sorry for the servers as often people take it out on them and it was not their fault.More

Arrived for dinner at 7pm. Not very busy. Received a drink at 7.30pm. Put our order in and it arrived at 8.30pm. 3 couples arrived after us and received their meals before us. Waitress showed no compassion. Food was marginal. Would not recommend and will...not be going back. Rob Atherton.More

Reading through the reviews, it is important to note the dates. This is now under new owneship/management and the experience is terrible. Can't comment on the food - could not even get any with the hour plus we were there! Management and owner extremely rude....Such a shame, as the building is great. Will never go again....shame.More

We ordered take out fish and chips and sat at the town dock to eat.. we are doing our best to support our small businesses. 1 piece is $10 + and extra $6 for the second piece (which I did not need! one piece was...more than enough) Great homemade tarter sauce!More

We happened to visit on a Tuesday prior to attending a concert at the Midland Cultural Centre, and Tuesdays are 1/2 price wing nights at Cellarman's so that's what we ordered. There are quite a few different sauces to choose from that were knew to...me, including red cream ale and Canadian whiskey. Lots of beer on tap. The atmosphere was great, and our server Kristyn took good care of us!More

Good food excellent atmosphere...off the main street but cozy. House garlic dressing is phenomenal. Wish it was closer to home, would be my local.

A bit different from your usual pub food and service - better in every way. The servings are huge and take-out boxes are cheerfully provided.

I have been here too many times to remember but the food is absolutely amazing ! Their salads are to die for especially the mushroom and goat cheese salad ! The curry chicken pot pie is also amazing ! Their wings are delicious. If you...are a Caesar lover I definitely recommend starting with that as your cocktail. We (4) went to Cellarman's for the first time Friday night of the long weekend. We had the 2 fish and chip dinners for $15.99; it was excellent! The beer was cold and the wine was delicious. Our waitress was knowledgeable and attentive; I wish...I had asked her name so I could mention it here.More

Definitely not a dive but rather a jewel. Cozy, kinda Irish atmosphere. Plenty on tap of the good beer/ale. No need for twenty types as there is definitely one for the beer drinker in you. Food OMG delicious and plenty. Try the poutine to begin....We did just the plain and when we were done sharing we were not sure why we ordered a main meal! Shepard’s pie with soup of the day, partner had beef and Brie on a roll sautéed onions and Greek salad. We are still here and perhaps foolishly have ordered dessert! We have a two hour drive to our destination but perhaps we need a motel as a second beer has our name on it. Bottom line, friendly, atmosphere, great food you need to pull your stool up and set a while. Dessert is about to be served!More

Good food and good prices. Drinks reasonably priced. The steak and mushroom pie and soup of the day were a little salty. Overall and nice experience.
