Food came way later than it should. 30 minutes before someone asked me if I had ordered food. I asked to speak to a manager 3x and I was approached by a waitstaff instead. They agreed time was excessive but offered no legitimate excuse for...poor service or cold parts of meal. This is the 3rd time I’ve come and I won’t return. The food looks good in the site and menu but delivering what they sell seems to fall short with me. Locals continue to flock here so they must enjoy the food and dwell time. My recommendation would be to bring a magazine, patience and a snack from home.More

What an unusual concept, a restaurant whose menu is based solely on serving Eggs Benedict in a variety of ways. I wonder if my friend and I could have made a menu choice if her phone could not read the QR codes. My phone did...not work. (We turned on all the right functions. I got warning messages, she did not.) I do not use QR codes. All this lead to a discussion of the increasing exclusionary nature of technology. There were other items on the menu but my friend and I went straight for the Eggs Benedict. We both had the original. We did find it odd that with all the health precautions prior to entry that once inside customers removed their masks for their entire visit. The staff was fully geared up for safety precautions. The inside sitting area is one large room. There is an outside seating area which is where we moved to when a table became available. As of October 2020, Merida is still a Hot Zone, while some businesses and restaurants are opening up, they are opening with limited hours, and safety precautions. It was nice to get out of the house with a friend and experience a little bit of normalcy. Note: parking was limited.More

good food wide selection and mediocre service. Not as good as the Fiesta Americana Buffet but I will return.

Found myself underwhelmed with service and food. Took forever to order, get coffee, get napkins. The smallest piece of bacon youve ever seen. Cold bread. Just ok. 🤷‍♀️

They clearly have a certain population they like - the less melanin the better. I went on a hot day and despite several open tables, they wanted me outside. Told me they all they had was one family sized table that they couldn't separate- only...to do exactly that for the white tourists that arrived afterwards. Never again will I go to this place. Never.More

Have been to both locations (actually the one in town is relocating) - this one is on the way to Progresso. As before, the food is tasty, service is excellent and pricing is very reasonable. The food selection is amazing. Parking is a breeze and...cleanliness is a priority.More

We've gone 4 or 5 times now, and while the food is pretty good, the service is absolutely abysmal. Disorganized servers who completely ignore requests (like ketchup, she thought I was kidding when I asked for a lot, and didn't bring me any. What is...that??) and cold food. The menu has promise, but management just does not care.More

Great place to have breakfast in Merida... Menu is an extensive variety of eggs Benedict and homemade bread: corn, coconut, carrot, butter... Everything is delicious!

We come regularly and bring visitors. The concept is fun. Of course there are several options for those with differing breakfast preferences and we might try them, but are working our way through the variations on eggs Benedict. This may be the cleanest restaurant ever....From the backs of fans to underneath the tables it's just meticulously clean. The owners show care and concern for customer needs and the staff are friendly and attentive. Menus are in Spanish and English. Items are priced well. Atmosphere is comfortable and the music is quietly laid-back. We've been to both locations, although we mostly go to Colonia Chuburna since it's close to home for us. For a relaxed, fun breakfast or brunch--whether for a business meeting, meal with friends and/or family, or a date in a "little out of the way" place--this is a lovely experience.More

We have gone to this place 3 times. First time we thought we could have had a good breakfast IF they wouldn't have served us RAW potatoes with our omelettes, I now for a fact that a raw potato besides being disgusting is also toxic.... The second time we were around this area and decided to give another chance to this place, the potatoes were RAW AGAIN! we left we still left a good tip as the waitress was friendly. The third and last time we decided to give another chance to this place, we had the same breakfast as the other times but this time when i placed my order I mentioned to the waitress they should make sure the potatoes are COOKED AND NOT CRUNCHY LIKE AN APPLE, BUT we had the same issue AGAIN with the potatoes that they serve as a side with the omelette, We mentioned it to the waitress and the manager, Incredibly they told us that this is the right way to cook a potato according to their chef and that I am wrong and they are cooked properly. A crunchy potato like an apple, do they think this is the right texture???For me this is unacceptable!!!More

A lot of Benedicts and eggs + muffins. Food quality is average and the coffee standard but does the trick. It's of the beaten track and you won't get here by foot. If you crave some western go - of not, there are plenty of...other options. It's north of city Center, so on the way to port progressoMore

This is one of the best breakfast places I've been to, period. We visited Merida for a week and went to both locations. The Norte location is very modern and bright. The Chuburna locale is very inviting, especially the outdoor area which overlooks the park...across the street. The food at either location is fantastic and consistently good. We had different kinds of Benedictines, as well as waffles and smoothies. We also sampled the breads (the corn bread is the best corn bread I've ever had). I've been to a ton of places in the States and I've never been to a breakfast place as cool and varied as Los Benes. Highly recommended if you're in Merida!More

Bright, cheery breakfast place off the beaten path. I ordered Santa Fe Eggs Benedict, mu husband had the Diablo Eggs Benedict. Both were better with some Haberno hot sauce. My husband really enjoyed their coffee. I was happy they had unsweetened iced black tea.

Stunning service, delicious food, elegant place, fair price, is fair to describe as "last bottle of watter lost in the dessert" because they have the philosophy of "we never use low quality ingredients in order to sell cheap" Really addictive when my wife and I...think in breakfast always our first options is this unique restaurant.More
