Yuck. Food: D. I had the caesar salad and crab cakes. Both sucked. How do you screw those up, especially the latter when so close to the ocean? Terrible. Daughter got mediocre pizza. Wife got a strange chicken dish she didn't like much. Same went...for my son who got a chicken mole dish. Chips and salsa were best part! Service: A. Venue: C. Average.More

This restaurant is located within the walls of the famous Hotel California. You can access it from the street by going through the lobby and/or the bar and there are tables set up in the patio area. We came for drinks and snacks and a...restroom break. The service was great, the beer was cold and the bathrooms were clean. Many people come to Todos Santos to see the Hotel California and this restaurant is a nice place to grab a meal or a snack.More

Went to Todos Santos today for a change of scenery and stopped for a drink at the Hotel California. I didn’t really want to eat lunch there thinking it would not compare to the hype. After wandering around and doing some shopping, their varied and...interesting menu drew us back. What a good decision. Two of our group had the Big Beef Burger, one had the Seafood Linguine and I had the Chile Rellenos....none of us have a bad word to say! Food was piping hot, fresh, well presented and extremely tasty. Be sure to go, it was well worth the day trip and we are glad to have returned to eat there. Ps. Try the hibiscus margarita...tart and tasty!More

While day-tripping in beautiful Todos Santos, we (two couples) made it a point to visit this lovely restaurant in Hotel California having heard about the hotels famous history. We were blown away by the beauty of the restaurant and the smooth service, though we thought...the service was slow for the one pizza we ordered. It was the Gourmet pear pizza on their menu, and we noticed it was not piping hot when delivered to our table. It appeared like the staff had forgotten to bring the pizza to our table hot. Nevertheless, we all thought it was a delightful tasting pizza. La Coronela is a great place for leisurely dining. The table settings are colorfully attractive. We sat in the patio section and saw a kitten wandering around and a few birds visiting around. But they were not a nuisance at all.More

My wife and I visited Todo Santos on August 15th. While we walked the beautiful streets we stopped into La Coronela because the food smelled so amazing out on the street. The food was excellent, the waiter was very helpful and made sure our waters...and margaritas stayed full. The area where the restaurant sits in is very beautiful and peaceful. It was our first time in Todo Santos and at La Coronela. Our 3rd time visiting Cabo and now we have added La Coronela to our list of things we must do when we visit. It was a great experience.More

The food was excellent, waiter was a bit iffy. When we finished dinner he tells us the visa machine is not working! Seriously. The guys went to an ATM to pay for dinner, sheesh. We had just spent all our cash shopping outside of Hotel...California.More

Went here with a group of four. Two split the chile relleno with scallops and shrimp, one had Brento Macho salad and I had a stuffed chicken breast with an orange jerk glaze. All the food was fine and it was pleasant in the courtyard....Service was good. Overall I thought it was a solid lunch choice in Todos Santos.More

This is a neat place to have a beer and say you were there. I would not recommend eating at this restaurant because the food is terrible. We decided we should have lunch to make our day easier. In hind site it was a big...waste of time and money. It took us 1.5hrs to have lunch. Two of us had burgers and another had the tortilla soup. The prices were comparable to any equivalent pub/restaurant in the US/Can. The quality was lacking. The buns were dried out, you got plain boiled potatoes as your side. There was nothing on the burger other than sautéed onions and some sort of cheese. There was nothing to put on the plain potatoes. We had to ask for condiments for the burger, that took a really long time get. The tortilla soup lacked flavour and needed salt and pepper. And then we learned it has nothing to do with the Eagles, or their Hotel California album. There is a taco place down the road that looked really good, clean, and busy. Have a beer if you want to say you were there!More

The food its just ok, and comparing the prices from the ones at cabo san lucas, it is at least more affordable. The burger us the best thing you can have.

We wanted to eat at the Hotel California but found out that the restaurant had a different name. The fish tacos with salsa & guacamole was delicious but messy, thank goodness the bathrooms were located close by. The mango margarita was just so-so, the flavor...didn't taste quite right. There was a clay sculptor that we got to watch and he gave each of us ladies a statue - me a fountain and my friend a horse head.More

Too bad - the restaurant at the “famous” hotel seems to have lowered its’ standards to appeal to mass tourism. Food was okay but nothing special (I had the chicken/goat cheese/avocado salad and my husband had the ceviche). We have had much better food in...pretty well every other restaurant in Baja. Service was slow (yes I know it is Mexico) and not overly welcoming. I would not go back or recommend it to anyone. Welcome to the Hotel California. Hopefully the hotel side works better.More

Inside the Hotel California, is the La Coronela bar & restaurant. The chips & salsa are large enough for a meal by itself. The guacamole is very good & the cheese dip is rich & very tasty - if you ask you’ll get a spicy...version that is also very good / spicy but not too much! We had lunch one day & went back a few days later for dinner as there menu has a wide variety & lunch was good- the chille relleno is very good / large & rich w/shrimp & scallops. The dill sauce compliments the seafood very well as did my cucumber (pepino) margarita. My husband’s pasta dish was very tasty, too. Very busy for lunch & very quiet for dinner. Either way the service was very good.More

The Hotel California is the home of La Coronela Restaurant and Bar. The owners of the hotel have done an excellent job redecorating the old hotel bar and restaurant. Its historical charm has been preserved and even improved with some cool new touches. The restaurant...offers two options for seating, inside around the kitchen and outside in a beautiful garden courtyard. The menu is a mix of international dishes, made from fresh ingredients, all with their individual Mexican touch. The ceviche tostadas are great for starters. We then had Mexican pizza and a grilled fish burger, both of which we really good. Credit cards accepted. A little pricey but the food is good.More

Good place. Food was good so was the ambience. The man who initially served us was haughty and made a face when i placed my drink order. He needs to remember this was for me not him so he kind of spoiled it. I would...recommend it however i wwould like to go to other places to try the food. There are a lot of them there.More
