We visited for dinner based on reviews on the Fork. Country styled dining room serving good pasta and meat dishes. The service was helpful and very friendly.More

We were a group of nine who were seated on the roof. What a lovely location! The accent is certainly on local produce with a rustic feel and quite limited choice, but the quality and value was excellent and the service charming. Everyone in our...party loved it!More
Thank you Paul for your review. we are looking forward to see you very soon! Fabrizio
First time, I went this restaurant in May and everything was great. The other day, I came back with a group of international friends to show them authentic Salento food. But it was a big delusion. 1-) Service is too slow even for southern Italy...standarts. There were only a few tables but we waited hours to eat. I observed that the organisation among the waiters was really bad, only 1 waiter could take orders. We arrived at 9, at 11 we were still waiting the food. 2-) They have 3 primo, 2 secondo choice. The second courses are all meat based, so the vegetarians had only pasta with tomato sauce and pasta with cime di rapa choices. As someone who lives in Salento in the last 5 months, both were the worst I have ever had. Very small portions (strange for an agriturismo), and very boring, bland food. Simple food can be amazing if done properly, unfortunately this was not the case here. 3-) We waited another 40 minutes for dessert and it was just OK. After all, I don’t think I will go back there again. I have been advising this place to my friends but sadly I noticed that in August, like everything in Salento, this restaurant doesn’t worth to visit.More

The menu is simple but the dishes are tasty and generous. The menu of the day offered fish soup which was delicious. The staff were warm and attentive.
Dear Marjie, thanks so much for your review! We hope to meet you a next time to offer you even more! Best regards
Our group of 10 went the the Serine for an evening of dinner and theater entertainment. We had a lovely time. They recommend, and so do I, that the meal be served family style. We started with about a dozen small plates of antipasti; pepperonata,...potatoes with tuna and onions, tomato salad, roasted peppers, etc. Lots of nice nibbles that we all enjoyed. We then ordered two big platters of pasta, one with seafood and one that was vegetarian. Both pastas were hand made and rustic, and the sauces were both delicious. After that some ordered another course of grilled meat with fried potatoes. The servings were huge and we all were able to enjoy some tastes. We also shared a couple of bottles of Negroamara, for 8 E a piece....a great price! This was followed by some in-house ice creams, espresso, and limoncello. All in all it was a great meal. After the dinner a local theater group presented a couple of one act plays. The setting was beautiful with the old masseria used as a backdrop for the staging. It did go on rather long, thanks in part to some technical difficulties and we were certainly ready to leave by the end of the evening. We were there for over four hours so understandably we were quite tired of sitting! This is a great spot to enjoy some nice home style salentino cooking in a rustic and quaint spot.More
Having read the other reviews and looked at the website we were really looking forward to our visit. We went for Sunday lunch in June, when we arrived there were no other customers and we went for a wander around the garden, which is lovely....Then, unfortunately, a coach pulled up and unloaded about 50 customers. Of course the owner's attention was focused on this group and not our group of 4 plus toddler. First we were offered a table which was practically in the dark inside, as the coach party had taken over the terrace. When we asked to move the head waiter was visibly put out, fortunately the actual waiter was very friendly and accommodating and moved us to another table right away. The food was disappointing, I've eaten in a lot of Agriturismi and was looking forward to a great, genuine meal. This lunch was fine, not wonderful, not terrible. The antipasti were very average, plus, annoyingly, we noticed that other tables were getting a wider variety of dishes than us, very irritating. Another table of locals were also brought proper wine glasses instead of the tumblers everyone else had, I really dislike this selective treatment of clientele. The pasta was good, especially the vegetarian option, the fish dish less so. All in all I wouldn't rush back, it was certainly one of the most disappointing meals out of the holiday.More
We stayed for a week at Agriturismo Serine and had a great time. The room was very comfortable and spacious, the restaurant was always delicious, the agriturismo was a charming establishment and the location was very convenient for spending days at the beach. The owners...too were very helpful. Overall I'd have to say the highlight was the food - superb fresh ingredients cooked in a number of imaginative and delicious ways to show off the best of local produce.More
