We were visiting the restaurant for several times during Our business trip to Bologna. I waited impatientlyfor for every meal in Da Dino. I would not expect this kind of a restaurant in a concreate block of flats. Sophticated dishes served by a wonderful waiter....Always willing to recommend and advise . For me the best were: lasagne (but not typical taste you know from every Italian restaurant), steak and panna cotta with wild fruits accompanied with excellent white sparkling (frizante) wine. Unforgetable atmosphere and flavour experience! I strongly recommend!More

As others have mentioned, you would not expect to find food this good in the midst of a group of concrete apartment blocks, so don't judge this place by its location. We read about it in a booklet provided by the host at our agriturismo...nearby, and I'm so glad we trusted her recommendation. We went on a Saturday night and fortunately there was a table available, although things did fill up quickly after we arrived, so I would definitely suggest booking ahead. Our waiter was charming and we were able to ask him for a few menu translations and wine suggestions. As two vegetarian eaters, we were able to eat quite well (with numerous things to choose from) and our meal included a porcini mushroom and arugula salad, as well as herbed tortelloni, a squash blossom frittata and our favorite: a blueberry and mushroom risotto that was to die for. Dessert was a blueberry semifreddo along with a local speciality, potato and almond pudding. Everything was well-prepared, flavorful and visually stunning. Our wine (a local selection) was also amazing and quite a value at 13 euros for a bottle! I would definitely recommend Da Dino if you're anywhere in the area - it's worth driving for and a great way to taste some of the best local and seasonal flavors of the area, at prices that are quite a bargain!More

A restaurant that is not in the beaten path, but is really a must be place. The service is so good that the crew arranged small quantities of several pasta plates. And the food is very good.

We saw good reviews so went there for a birthday meal. It was worth a drive from Bologna, good food, relaxed ambience, pleasant staff. But the location (in the middle of concrete block of flats?) was simply weird at the first sight. We understood that...the restaurant had been there for years perhaps even before the area got built up. Anyway, the inside is nice. Easy to park. So I can happily recommend.More

Food is probably kept frozen and heated in microwave before served, at least the dishes we ordered: after ordering the plates were in our table in less than 2 minutes. Presentation and taste of dishes is very poor. I do not really understand how this...restaurant can be recommended in the Michelin guide. I tried other recommended restaurants in Bologna, Florence and Verona with considerable higher quality standards than il Ristorantino da Dino.More
