Great service, nice vibes and good people. Drinks are at a good reasonable price, service is in point quick and easy. Best part of the place is English speaking environment with many people who are local regulars who are welcoming and friendly to us foreigner...and are willing to teach you a bit of Japanese if you ask kindly. The staff is great as well as the owner lovely place with a homely atmosphere.More

The food is plenty good, but the value of this place is being able to have a conversation in English. After 10 days in countries where I don't speak the languages, having a friendly bunch of locals and tourists eager to talk was wonderful. Bartender...is nice too.More

My 3 friends and I came in on a recommendation by my friend’s parents. The service was honestly the worst we have all ever received. It took over 20 minutes for one drink and over 15 for the check. Last call was supposedly at 11:30...and they were still pouring drinks past closing time. The guy serving us directly was very sweet and in training, so confronting him on the service seemed futile. The people behind the bar were so busy chatting up the locals that we were nonexistent, they wouldn’t even look in our direction. 2 drinks per person was $60 and took over 2 hours. One of the drinks tasted like there was absolutely no alcohol in it with no exaggeration. The place was very hot and stuffy making our wait even more awful. A complete waste of money and we all left extremely upset. Horrifically run business.More

This bar is just around the corner from where our family of four (two older adults and two young adults) is staying in Tokyo (June 2019). My husband and I (the two older adults) went there two nights ago for dinner. We walked into a...very tiny space with a bar that had six or seven stools and a table for four to eat at and two small benches for people to "lounge" on while having drinks. There were two bartenders, one German lady and one Japanese lady. From the moment we walked into the bar we felt as if we had interrupted an international plot to take down some regime. No one said hello. In a place so small, it was hard to ignore us so the German bartender finally took our order, except she completely ignored my existence and my husband had to go to the bar to ensure an order for food was put into the "kitchen" for me. We both ordered fish and chips, which were not that great. Most of the menu, which is advertised as organic and vegetarian/vegan, was a typical North American or Australian breakfast menu, but this bar does not open until 6:00p.m. any night. No one engaged us in conversation or asked where we were from, even though everyone there spoke English to some degree. The whole experience was a cultural and culinary waste of time and money.More
