I’ve been to this restaurant many times and I honestly love this place. Today was a Sunday birthday lunch and everyone was satisfied. Super location, super service, super food. That said, as I get older, I also get more picky and I would like to...give three suggestions to Taverna so from greatness they can elevate to excellence, at least from my point of view. 1. Wine: don’t bring a bottle of wine already open to the table (Cerasuolo di Abruzzi) - Opening the bottle at the table enhances the experience. 2. Verbal communication: the delicious steak was anticipated by a description card which was placed with courtesy in front of us. But as we consumers are lazy and don’t read 😬...integrate the read with a verbal description (similar to the verbal explanation of the antipasti). 3. Chocolate board: wow ... fantastic. Three different distinctive flavors accompanied by an appropriate liquor. My suggestion? Please accompany the board with a sharp pointed knife so the plentiful chocolate chucks can be cut in smaller pieces in order to share with others and/or flavored multiple times. My vote is 5 stars and I hope my input will be considered constructive in order to elevate this restaurant to a 5+++ stars... So, as I said at the beginning..elevate this restaurant from greatness to excellence.More

It was a special day in town. Many people around an loud music everywhere. We wanted to eat something and found this place a bit behind the main road. The place outside is beautiful und the service excellent. They have a small menu but the...„Tortelli“ we ate, were delocious!More

We stopped in for lunch at this very nice taverna. It's tastefully decorated, has polite staff, relaxing music, and a lovely terrace. We only wanted something light so just went for a first-course each. The pasta was perfectly al dente and the gnocchi were really...very special - my only quibble would be the portions which were a touch miserly!More

We ate at this restaurant twice on our recent visit, a few days apart. The food is delicious, the service a bit patchy but an irritation was the poorly printed menus which were almost illegible- it seemed disrespectful to clients not to reprint these.

Went there with the wife and our baby if 4 months. When we were taking our seats we were immediately made attentive of the AC that would blowing directly on our sleeping daughter, and they made the effort to move some tables so we could...sit somewhere else.. Very helpfull and attentive!!! The rest of the evening we saw the some amount of politeness and we're very pleased with the staff. The food was very good quality compared to its price, just be aware this is down to earth honest food and not molecular cuisine - as we prefer it. Can highly recommend it!More

This is a very classic Italian restaurant! Beautiful place unlike anything we could find in the US. Everyone loved their food from appetizers through to dessert. The service was just right, and no one was ever left waiting for anything or felt like we were...being hovered over. Incredible dining atmosphere; the waiters were super friendly and very funny. Even though we could not speak Italian at all, they explained the menus to us in English and made everything sound absolutely delicious. The food served was spot on and it was the best...meal we had during our trip in Italy, will definitely return if we ever come back.More

We had a wonderful lunch here after touring around the walls of Cittadella. It was a little bit hard to find but absolutely worth the effort. This restaurant has a beautiful outdoor patio and the staff was very welcoming. We started with the antipasto platter...for two people and it was very generously sized. We followed that with an insalata mista that was mixed greens, carrots, and tomatoes. It was very generously sized for a side salad. I had the house pasta dish that was a stuffed pasta with, I believe, a smoked cheese on top. It was excellent and although I was absolutely full, I couldn't help but finish it off. My husband had a different pasta dish that was equally as tasty. We both enjoyed a glass of wine that the waiter offered that wasn't on the wine list. It was an excellent recommendation as we both enjoyed it. All of the above plus 2 large bottles of water, 2 coffees, and coperto came to €62 and it was absolutely worth that and more. The server spoke great English and also helped us with our italian. We have family joining us next week and we intend to take them to this wonderful restaurant. Reminder: This is Italy, take your time and enjoy the meal. You'll never feel rushed or intruded upon by waitstaff here.More

We showed up here on an evening when they were completely booked. Fortunately for us, a staff member took interest in our small group and was extremely accommodating. He set us up an extra table they had sitting outside. We sat in an odd spot,...but they made us very comfortable. Bogdan was our server and he put plants and lights around us to make us feel like we weren't a random table tossed off alone. He served us bread and free finger foods while we waited for dinner because of the "table inconvenience" and was extremely friendly, personable, and funny. The food and service were wonderful, but we'd go back just to have Bogdan be our waiter again! He is the best!More

The place is beautiful, food is really good and the staff is very friendly (speak english)! They have a great wine selection! The dessert is awesome!

Nice place, practical menu, good tables in the garden, the food was very good, and even the desserts are delicious, the most important, very kind people for service, they take some time but is worth to wait. Missing some lighting,
