Losehill House Hotel & Spa is celebrated for its tranquil atmosphere, friendly staff, and picturesque location, which reviewers find ideal for relaxation and enjoying stunning views. The spa and comfortable rooms with lovely views receive high marks, despite some guests suggesting the spa is on the smaller side. Cleanliness is a standout feature, with the hotel's immaculate maintenance often highlighted. While generally considered good value, a few guests mention the costs of spa services and food can add up. However, some travelers have reported disturbances due to noise and occasional late-night disruptions.

The quality of your breakfast let you down in a big way, so much so that it would put me off visiting you again as breakfast should be of the utmost top quality as this is your last and lasting memory of your stay.

We had a great short stay at this lovely country hotel. The food was excellent, both in the evening and for breakfast. The room was very clean and comfortable with a view over fields. We also enjoyed a great Spring walk which we found on the hotel website.

From arrival to departure each member of staff and Paul the co-owner made us warmly welcome and our partnership celebration was made very special. We each enjoyed a spa treatment and the on-site facilities and especially the evening meal where the food served was outstanding!

We're just back from 3 nights at Losehill. We all had an amazing time. The staff are brilliant, the food is sensational, the spa area is spot on, the massage treatment were very good indeed and the atmosphere and 'feeling' around the place is great. Paul has a great team there, nothing seems too much trouble and they all seem to have good values and genuinely nice and helpful. A fantastic place and experience. Can highly recommend - obviously!

An amazing birthday break on the DBB deal. We stayed in a standard deluxe room on the 2nd floor. Comfy bed, roll top bath, walkin shower. Excellent food, attentive service. Beautiful setting. First class

Thank you for making our stay amazing, staff very polite, helpful and attentive. It was just what we needed, a few days away enjoying nature at its best. The spa facilities were certainly welcomed after a long day walking and hiking. Food was outstanding, beautifully presented, loved it all. Shall definitely be back.

Fabulous, relaxing 2 night stay, with superb fine dining. All respect to the head chef, with daily changing menus the food was delicious and each course looked a work of art on the plate. I was lucky with my timing in the spa and virtually had the pool and jacuzzi to myself both days, I had been told that it can get busy at peak times. The spa area views are beautiful, the hotel is in a perfect location.

We enjoyed a beautiful night away at Losehill House. This wonderful hotel is set amongst rolling hills and breathtaking views! We were fortunate enough to have a room looking over the back gardens and beyond, and even on a misty morning it was lovely to see the morning light coming through the curtains. The hotel interior has a quiet luxury feel, with lots of beautiful prints and furniture. A highlight for me being the freestanding roll-top bath, perfect for relaxing before dinner! The room was well stocked, and the huge bed was extremely comfortable. Although we had the option of a tasting menu (that sounded incredible), we opted for the three course and wow, it did not disapoint! Similarly, the breakfast was very delicious with freshly brewed coffee, fruit and a full 'Derbyshire' breakfast! The entire stay was made even better by the wonderful team at Losehill House! This hotel really has the ability to transport you away from any worries and stress, leaving you feeling revived and refreshed. We cannot wait to come back again soon!

This visit was a birthday gift for my best friend. Due to various circumstances it was a year until we got booked OMG it was worth the wait. Just complete perfection. Definitely go back again. From arriving to leaving we were completely pampered. The food, service, spa area and spa treatment (especially Susannah who was my therapist) were excellent. The staff were above and beyond friendly, helpful and attentive. The evening meal was a sensation and my compliments to Chef and thanks for dealing with a change to my choice due to allergy. All that’s left to say is thank you Losehill we had a fabulous time with you.

Losehill House is a lovely small hotel tucked away in a beautiful spot in the Hope valley, surrounded by spectacular scenery, and it feels nicely away from the crowds (I wish there weren't so many potholes on the lane to get there though!). The rooms are comfortable enough, if quite traditional in feel. The small spa is a little dated but was perfectly clean and is a nice luxury for a small hotel. I was fortunate that it was quiet and the weather was good and enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub with the fabulous view of Win Hill. The food in Grafene Restaurant is superb. I upgraded to the 'Taste of Losehill' menu, which was excellent, but what stood out to me were the little touches like the canapés, homemade bread and flavoured butter, and the petit fours at the end, clearly all made in-house and all so good. Breakfast was also very good - I much prefer a la carte to a buffet. Overall, Losehill House just had a lovely feel about it - helpful and friendly staff, a lovely location and great food. I will definitely return!
