We were welcomed by James and shown to our room. The room was light, airy and welcoming with drinks available in the room. There was an excellent range of choices for breakfast. Hot and cold options. We opted for a cooked breakfast with fruit juice, tea, coffee and toast. It was freshly cooked and the sausages were very tasty. The bread for the toast and the jams were homemade and the sausage and bacon locally sourced. Katherine advised that they would pop in to the room and refresh the filtered water and drink supplies when I mentioned we needed more milk. We stayed for two nights and would happily have stayed have stayed longer as James and Katherine made us feel so welcome. We have family in Chard and will stay here again when we visit.

A lovely little B&B with a homely feel. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and service great. The bed was very comfy and we slept very well. Rooms are very well presented and perfect for our stay. Situated in town and very close to the shops, including a Sainsburys nearby.

This is our first stay at this Guest House and certainly won't be our last. As soon as you open the door you instantly feel at ease. James and Katherine are lovely nothing is too much trouble for them. James recommended some nice places to eat and visit whilst we were here. The breakfast is very good and they also do Vegan options. You simply fill in a form the night before and leave it downstairs and they cook your food to perfection. The breakfast area is lovely and there is a little back room where you can relax and read a book. There's a lovely little garden to take advantage of when the weather is nice. The room is spotless and beautiful. Lots of little extras like bathrobs, slippers, sewing kit, hairdryer, toiletries to name a few. Room comes with a good size TV with free view. The en-suite rooms have a bath and shower which is excellent. The bed is very comfortable and plenty of pillows. Also looked at the family room and that looks a good size too. Parking is limited outside the guest house but there's plenty of free parking available only a few minutes walk away. We will be back next year.

This is the best guest house in the area: good value, an eco-friendly guest house of 6 rooms. There is a small lounge downstairs with books where you can read and relax. I have been staying there every month for 14 months now. James and Katherine are super- friendly hosts. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast is very good quality. Also it is a reasonable price.i highly recommend it.

This was the second visit here, as it is convenient to see family living in Chard. The first stay had been very good and on this return occasion, it was still as good, if not better. Clean rooms, friendly staff, good facilities. The staff were very helpful when booking the room and the guest house was very comfortable, quiet and the breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend the guest house but advise that you book early, as it does get booked up.

Stayed here on a Saturday night, following reading the great reviews. From the moment we arrived, to when we left James & Katherine were great making sure everything was OK. Room was clean, bed comfortable & in the morning the breakfast was all freshly cooked. Plenty of free parking around if their car park is full. Would definitely recommend
