Detailed Reviews
Very friendly and helpful owners.
Good size apartment with a fridge in the communal area we could use.
Lovely views from the pool side. It was too cold when we visited to go in the pool but I believe it would be excellent when hot weather.
The rooms are quite basic but the thing that makes this place special is how helpful the owners were. They were able to suggest things for us to do in the nearby area and we’re very kind to our two toddlers.

We had a very nice stay, the hosts are very helpful and went out of their way to make sure we knew where to go and what to see. Food recommendations were great and some extra stops on our trip were appreciated. The room was clean and the view brilliant. The owners were very nice with our two little boys. Thank you so much!

Owner on site and is very helpful. We stayed 3 nights in 3 room apartment. You will need a car to get here. The 3rd room is a little small, but the outside area is great for dinner at sunset. There is a nice cheap place to eat nearby.

Third visit to this b and b. Friendly, family owners on site, plus extra helpful Carmelo on staff. Lovely view of the valley, night and day. Within walking distance to Centro of Monreale and beautiful cathedral. We were given special help over the recent holidays to find open restaurants and transportation to them.

I stayed here with my family for close to 10 days on the advice of a friend who is a local. Great decision.
It is an ideal location directly on the outskirts of Monreale. Convenient gated parking and easy to access to explore all of Sicilia with ease.
However, the top reason was the incredibly hospitable staff. Federica is a part owner who goes out of your way to make you feel at home. Carmelo is extremely helpful and multilingual. Communicating with my broken Italian was not needed as his English was impeccable.
Wonderful place.

At the last minute through some friends in Palermo I was recommended to stay for a few days @ Casa Rossa. From the owner to general manage Carmelo, they could not have been more accommodating or nice and friendly and helpful. The apt. room I stayed in was lovely and the view from the relaxing pool was incredible with the most comfortable lounge chairs in the world.
( I forgot to ask where they bought the chairs I'd like them for my home) Staying @ Casa Rossa was a treat and the best way to stay close enough to Palermo but still get to enjoy Monreale. Unfortunately I am back to real live in NY city but I can daydream back to my days in Sicily, especially Monreale...ciao ciao M. Bongiorno

We booked a double and a triple room at Casa Rossa for three nights. The double had a small window overlooking the road and the owner happily changed it for one overlooking the terrace and mountains.
The "triple" was actually a suite composed of two doubles, each with their own bathroom. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable.
Carmelo, the owner of the bed and breakfast, was very helpful, recommending places to visit and restaurants, and providing us with a map of Palermo for sightseeing.
The only thing that could be improved was breakfast, which we tried on the first morning but decided to have in the cafés around the cathedral square in Monreale after that. It seemed a shame to miss out on good coffee and Sicilian pastries!

+1
This is a lovely property up the hill from Monreale. It has loads of space and really peaceful, overlooking amazing mountain views.
Beds are comfy and outdoor areas spotless.
Anna is very welcoming and helpful and speaks excellent English.
We are a family of 7 and so to find this size property for approx £100 a night was not easy ans such value.
Fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms and loads of space pool-side or in various property patio areas to relax.
It is about 20 mins walk from Monreale centre uphill so not for those with poor mobility without a car. You can go to local supermarket in Monreale and buy food to cook and drinks.
We got the bus one day to Palermo (€1.90 each) but actually with 7 people, it was better to pay €25 (€6 extra) for a taxi. Anna organised this.
Breakfast was fresh with standard cereal, fruits, meats, yoghurts, pastries and bread with fresh juice and coffee.
Highly recomended accomodation for large groups
Ps- The cat is very friendly 😊

A brilliant place to stay with a lovely little swimming pool. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful, they couldn't have done more for us. We stayed in the apartment which was perfect for our needs. We can't recommend it highly enough.
