We enjoyed our stay here. Glad I ignored other reviews saying it was in the middle of nowhere. It’s well placed quite close to Lake Garda. We had some lovely breakfasts each day with plenty of choice: cereals, yogurts, dried fruits & nuts, cake, pastries, cold meats & cheese, fresh bread, coffees/teas/juices, cooked bacon/eggs/sausages. It’s all frequently topped up, so you have plenty of choice till it finishes. The room was nice, but only one plug socket is quite poor these days. The towels weren’t very soft/fluffy, but adequate. They also needed more than 3 hangers per person in the wardrobe! Everything else was super, very helpful staff, friendly and smiley. Even leant me antiseptic for my hand until I could get to the pharmacy. There are so many places to visit nearby: Sirmione, Garda, Limone, Salo, Riva del Garda, Bardolino, Verona and Lazise, to name a few. Overall, beautiful weather, wine, cheaper prices for food and drink in the region than our previous holidays in Tuscany and Rome, very picturesque and relaxing.

This hotel is in the middle of nowhere, you can’t walk to anything. It’s a hotel where you must have a car. The lobby is the nicest part. The streets don’t have sidewalks to walk on, no restaurants open on mondays, we tried to check out within a couple of hours of checking in and couldn’t even get a partial refund. We seemed to be the only one in the entire hotel and they had no idea what is open and what isn’t. Lots of hotels to choose from, skip this one and stay closer to the lake unless you are a business traveler.

Hi David, it's sad to read your review after all we did for you and your stay. The hotel is in a strategic place, you can reach different places in a few minutes from here. Our address is on the web and by checking our position every Guest can plan its holidays easily. You were without a car and we gave you the number of a private driver and the Peschiera taxi number in order to plan your 3 days stay properly. You didn't want to call anyone. You asked for a place to eat and we gave you the directions for 3 different open restaurants, reachable by foot. You couldn't find the one you chose so we called another restaurant for the delivery. When they told us that the kitchen was closing we asked them an exception for you and they waited for your order. Suddenly, you changed your mind again and didn't want any food. The day was sunny and it was hot outside. You had no idea about what to do and we rememberd you about our swimmingpool. The hotel was empty because our Guests normally go to the Amusement parks around the Garda Lake or directly to the Garda Lake towns. You had the chance to enjoy the pool alone, only with your family. You didn't want to. You asked for a refund for not appreciating the hotel, knowing that it's not a reason enough for making exceptions to our policies. By the way, since we work in order to give nice memories to Guests about the hotel, we proposed you a 3 free nights voucher. You didn't want it. We are sorry you had a bad personal experience here and you didn't find a way to enjoy your stay in our hotel. We did our best in order to help you but you didn't find any suggestion useful, and we believe this is not a sufficient reason to give us 1/5 point.

The absolute best part of this property is the staff!! Alberto and Giorgia were incredibly friendly, professional and so helpful with providing my husband and I with wonderful places to visit right around the property along with great places to dine. You can tell they love what they do and are passionate about ensuring you enjoy your visit. We had so much fun with Alberto while enjoying the delicious cappuccinos and cocktails he prepared for us. He gave us some quick lessons in Italian and shared fun stories. The hotel is very nice, clean, modern and comfortable located in a quiet residential area. The rooms are spacious and super clean. The hotel is centrally located to lots of areas around Lake Garda, Verona and Gardaland. Each place takes approximately 10-20 minutes to reach via car but you enjoy scenic drives through lots of vineyards. The also have a wonderful breakfast with lots of homemade items- definitely worth enjoying. I highly recommend this hotel and think you will enjoy your visit. Oh.. they also have free onsite covered garage parking! We will absolutely return! Enjoy.

We spent 5 nights in the Mod5 Hotel in Sandrá. We had booked 2 rooms and we were absolutely happy. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bathroom is very nice. Every room has a mini bar. The closet is big enough for two. The bed is big and super comfortable. The balcony wasn’t as great and not really made for sitting outside but we just used the patio of the hotel in the evening. They have a little lounge area. Breakfast is in the Moda restaurant in the hotel and is absolutely enough. There is everything one needs from coffee over cereal over bread and croissants. Very delicious. We also used this restaurant for dinner sometimes. You get 10% off as hotel guest and the food and service was heavenly. We really enjoyed this stay and will be back soon.

Spent three nights in July and two of them the AC did not work (30C). But they fixed ot the last day. The breakfast is good, typical italian. The rooms are big and we got a toddlerbed for our 1 year old daugther. Would be nice to have some furnitures on the balcony and some sunbeds by the pool. Today there are only regular chairs and tables by the pool which is nor very welcoming. Despite all this I would actually go back.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel as a Base to explore lake garda. I have to say it was an excellent hotel for the price, very clean and the staff went our of their way to help us. It's a very modern hotel which would not suit everyone but we liked this. With its location you must have a car as the town it's in is very small and its about 15 mins from the lake towns such as lasize. Breakfast was simple but the food was of good quality, again very helpful friendly staff. If you don't mind a bit of driving and just want a Base to stay at this is a good alternative to more expensive hotels nearer the lake.

Very clean hotel, helpful staff very convenient if you are visiting Lake Garda. Situated in the old village of Sandra, Gardaland is just 7 min away. The only minus was no kettle in room considering I was travelling with kids it was necessary for food/ bottles etc. Highly recommended.

Situated in a very convenient location with easy access to roads, 7 minute drive from Gardaland, perfect as a base and to travel from there all around the area. We had to change a hotel after three nights as the hotel was fully booked so we moved to a place in Desenzano which is also a lovely area but Castelnuovo de Garda is so much better located, very local and not touristic with wonderful restaurants and cafes and welcoming people. There is also a charming and excellent local restaurant just behind the hotel. Supermarkets are a shirt drive away. Would definitely pick this location again. The staff, Cristina and Angelo are so kind and helpful, the rooms are clean, not too big but we felt comfortable, a sufficient yet beautiful breakfast. The design is clean and modern and feels good! Definitely the best choice! Before we made the booking we wanted a hotel on the lake and after driving one day to Malcesine and seeing how long it takes to drive on that road we understood how important it was that we didn't stay close to the lake especially as we travelled all around every day. The lake is beautiful with breathtaking views but extremely time consuming when driving in and out. Food for thought... Especially with kids!
