Hugging a big, beautiful bay, red-roofed Loviste has quiet bayside break written all over it. Located on the far northern tip of Croatia’s Peljesac Peninsula, there’s an unmistakably out-of-the-way feel here that’s deeply soothing. A little fishing village with only about 250 inhabitants, the rhythm of life here is ultra-restful. Villagers make simple livings from fishing and running the few, good quality konoba sprinkled along the pretty harbourside. Trail slowly along the waterfront and make yourself at home, sipping a refreshing iced coffee or Malvasia wine while you peer out over the empty bay and pine-frosted headlands beyond. When it’s time for the beach, there’s a large sweep of pebbles with gentle waters perfect for the kids. If the pebbles don’t appeal, station yourself on the sunny bathing platforms and landing stages studding the bayside, occasionally plunging into the bracing Adriatic to cool off.
This was very beautiful experience, when Corona started to hit, husband and I were looking for some calm place to rest for few days and booked in this pension which has all - great rooms with sea view, friendly owner and staff (Mario was so helpful and is making the best coffee!), excellent food&drinks even served on the beach, little private beach with comfy chairs, shower and basically everything. We will definitely be back.

My personal favourite location for a getaway!! Great for couples and/or families. Nothing beats watching the sunset from your room then walking a few metres down to a five star quality meal. Staff are very personable and happy to help! Would definitely recommend

Sitting on the balcony, sipping a glass of wine watching the water is so good for the soul. The food is fabulous and the hosts helpful. Rooms are comfortable. Loviste is definitely a place to come if you need to de stress. Look forward to my next visit.

Location is excellent. The staff are great. However, Robert, the owner is creepy and gross. My husband and I stayed for two weeks, and Robert was very sexist towards me, a woman. We had to leave early because he tried to have sex with me while my husband was away, after I had clearly shown him I did not want to. I did not feel safe here as a female traveller. On top of that, we saw cats and a rat in the dining room and wine being served with moldy corks. Unfortunate, because the location is beautiful. Stay in Loviste, but stay and eat somewhere other than Pension Grandina.

Waking up in a dream....this is my favourite place on Earth. The place where I have been coming back since I was 2 years old. This is my second home where part of my soul will live forever...my happy place, where I go when I feel blue, even if I am far far away from it. I am so thankful for every second I am spending here, every Sunset and Sunrise, song of the waves, memories.....thank you, love you, miss you 💕 Here you'll be welcomed by the kindest hosts ever, eat the best seafood and sleep on clouds.

Can`t wait to visit this place again! Clean sea, delicious food, good service and the most beautiful sunset! I really enjoyed being here with my family. It´s a small village at the end of the peninsula Peljesac. The family produces vine, olive oil, grapa and vegetables on their own. You can really taste the difference!

Perfect for couples willing to spend quality time on their own. Nice mezze, fish too. Perfect homemade red wine, and proscuitto. Far the best sunset on peninsula. Good road to Loviste from Orebic. Very recommended!

The fish soup was excellent, but scampi risoto was terrible. It was made out of gamberi, had only two scampi - old ones. They do not have any nice desserts, apart from pancakes. But sunset is the most amazing.
